whoa that is a pretty legit lineup of allowed pokemon (by that i mean larvitar and dratini are )
wait no flyers except dragonite? can natu/xatu fly??
|
Starter is a Cyndaquill named George (for flamewheel)
EDIT: I don't think Natu can fly but Xatu can.

You can only use pokeballs to catch pokemons. That includes Ho-Oh/Lugia and the Legendary Dogs(or Cats). The max level your pokemon can be is *Highest level that badge allows* - 10. No TMs. Can only teach HM to 1 pokemon.

But I like the Pokeballs only idea regardless.

how bout you come and play some damned bw with me instead !!!

Instead of releasing fainted pokemon, try this:
No recovering HP or status at pokecenters. No buying revives, but you can use any you find. More fun, IMO, since you won't be running back to the pokecenter after every battle.

besiger: Sorry, I'm dodging ZvT from now on (SC2 did a number on my BW skills). B1nary: Sounds like a good idea except how do you recover PP?

I agree...this is lots more fun ^^ I have tried this myself...and it gets you through the game faster

You can still use pokecenters to recover PP but you have to make your entire team is at full health and have no status conditions beforehand.
|
How about no Evo allowed?

On another note, I might want to replace certain Pokemon since they come too late into the game to be of any real use (Teddiursa, Diglett, Dratini, Larvitar, except I just love Dragonite so much T_T).

Update: got a Cyndaquil named George as my starter and he's fucking cute as hell.

Can you please name one of them Juicy. i think that would add a lot of depth to your lineup! haha

You got to be joking. What is the point of this challenge? You basically picked all of the good pokemon out there for G/S, including the two pseudo-legendaries (Dratini, Larvitar), best Ghost pokemon (Gastly), best Bug pokemon (Heracross), best Fire pokemon (Growlithe), second-best Normal pokemon (Teddi; the best is probably Snorlax). Also Bellsprout and Poliwag are two very good lines of pokemon with three stages of evolution. Wooper and Chincou are very good because of their typing, Natu and Miltank are versatile with decent statistics in every category.
There is really no point in this challenge if you are allowed to evolve those species. All you need is a Dragonite with Dragon Dance to sweep through everything. If that fails, you can also breed a Larvitar with Dragon Dance (thanks to the availability of the Dratini family).
Even if you do not allow evolution of those species as well as for your starter, this will still be quite easy because Miltank, which doesn't have any evolutions, is a very good pokemon. She has high speed, high HP, high (s)def, and a usable attack. Just make her learn Strength and utilize her STAB. If she is low on HP, she can even heal herself.
I would be impressed, however, if you: 1) remove Miltank and Heracross 2) disallow any evolutions 3) only one pokemon per species
NOTE: It seems that none of the pokemons you listed can learn Fly (not considering their evolutions).
