Despite the flag, there are easy ways to spot a Russian and a Korean, too.
Russians type parenthesis at the end of sentences, like. RussianDude: Hi))) RussianDude: )) I dont know if it is meant to be a smiley with no eyes, or some sound blasting thingy... but most Russians type like that lol.
Koreans are easy to spot when you ask them a "yes or no" question, and they answer "ok". They use the acknowledgment as an affirmation. Leath: Did you break his third? KoreanDude: ok
I find Koreans play much different than everyone else. I cant really define their play style, but instead of copying pro it seems like they make up their own. I find it hard to beat them, because their play is sometimes new to me, and they execute it well.

Chile + peru = ling all in or 3-4 gates from 1 base + the JAJAJA JEJEJE is fking annoying. Russian terrans have a strong play and good conservative style USA players tend to cry a lot when they lose Koreans = imba

Russians
Russians are usually really friendly. I never had great problems with any Russian player. I really think the " )) " smiley is typical for them. They also try to distract you chatting in early game when they rush. I think this goes for low level players. High Level Russians are usually really good and play straight up macro style.
Germans
Being German myself, I always get the impression that they try to copy progamers. They try to copy the builds and get as good as possible with their mechanics and playing style. I personally think they are not really agressive and prefer standard play. They will also try to end the game as early as possible if they get a chance.
USA
My personal with people from the USA is really positive. They usually play a standard game with a healthy amount of cheese in their gameplay. If they lose they usually ask for a regame and as long as you are going to give them a re, they won't be bad mannered.
Korea
Koreans are usually really friendly but they don't talk while they play. They barely talk in early game, but I prefer to just play my game so.. I think they know they are better than foreigners or they think so at least and try to either rush / cheese hardcore or play a standard game and win with better mechanics and a really aggressive style. If you win some of them are really bad mannered and tell you that you are lagging and insult you. Most of them leave with "gg/ww" or ask for re and a few ask if I'm really from Germany (I'm playing with a Korean flag, but usually when the Korean talks to me I reply that I'm from Germany (in hangul)). After I told them I'm from Germany and they lost, they usually ask for my name and the German time, haha!!
Chile
They make fun of everything, they all in, cheese and like already mentioned really like to "xD" and "ajajajaja". I don't like to play against players from Chile.

Yea, same thing for [HK] since there are like only 20 HK flags on iccup :/.
And I always dodge random becuase its so annoying to play.

I hate 'jajajaja' as well. I usually associate that with cheese or hacking. :D

Lol, I'm so used to not caring where people were from, that I don't even bother looking at the thing, and would only know where they were from if say they asked me, because I would just ask back, and I totally forgot about that change. : P

Countries with people i vs (laddering with people i do not know) that are very friendly include:

i always enjoy seeing [US] players with incredibly immature names. urmom69, xxssjgokuxx, mstrchieflulz94

I just avoid south americans. You have about 90% chances of getting cheesed, game is laggy and that "XD" smile they spam whenever they can is annoying as fuck. I know many south american players who are very nice people, yet the average south american iccup player is something to be avoided at all costs.

... some kid just asked "From?" like 5 times -_____________-
I told him China, even though there wasn't any lag.

i hate the fack that people still ask me FROM?
