[Photo] Seorak Mountain Trip Part 1

Went out to the mountains with some friends this weekend. It was FREEZING by 4pm. After comparing all the pictures I took with my point and shoot and my friend Tom's Canon 30D... I'm gonna post his pictures first. It's amazing what a difference in quality our pictures are!

This is where we stayed Friday night. It was a cabin in the woods - seriously remote and away from everything (except for the other cabins next to us). We brought the PS3 but realized that the cable didn't want to work so ended up playing cards and drinking the rest of the night. ^^

The next morning, we drove down to Sokcho Beach before heading into the mountains.

Then... off into the mountains! It was an amazingly clear day but freakin cold. We took a 1 hour hike up to see a waterfall and then 1 hour back.

I'll prolly make another blog with more people shots (the ones taken from my camera) once I get those uploaded. But I wanted to share some scenic pictures with all you guys.

ha thats funny I also just posted a blog here with some pics on Seoraksan
But yours look nice sunny, colourful and funny, mine are black and white, dark and apocalyptic

yeah
although seorak doens't compare in size and scale with its western counterparts, it's nonetheless just as beautiful, if not more
you should have gone up towards the "dragon's ridge" or wahtever it's called

I saw the pictures of yours too

That's what prompted me to post the pictures I had. Honestly, I need to get myself a nicer camera. Maybe that's my next purchase that I'll have to save up for. Your pics are so artistic.

How come Chill ALWAYS manages to keep his hair in such a pristine "straight-out-of-an-80s-exploitation-movie"-condition no matter what weather conditions he's facing?

Anyway, some really beautiful scenery there, wish the last picture was bigger, would have been a great wallpaper

Yeah having a nice camera is definitely worth it, especially when you live in such a beautiful country

It looks really peaceful and beautiful out there. It's so freezing in Korea now though - I'm surprised you guys didn't turn into popsicles wandering around like that.

OMG it was SO COLD. SO SO SO COLD. Jamie had on a sweatshirt while the rest of us had like parkas on.

That's my friend Rob from home who is visit for the week.

It was Chill, Jamie, me, Rob (friend from home) Amarisse (Tasteless' girlfriend) and Tom and Malia - another couple I know out here in Korea from Daejeon.
