The other day I got a newsletter from the creator of the Zpoint process, a form of energy therapy I've explored for a while. I'll just copy the email so I save myself some typing:

A few weeks ago a friend sent me a link to watch several short videos on Jonette Crowley's website. These videos have to do with a simple process to bring your higher self more into alignment with your physical body. I've posted links to those videos below.
While watching her video I began to experience intense feelings of joy that were centered around my heart chakra. Over the next few weeks I watched the video again and again and experienced the same sense of overwhelming joy each time.
My purpose in writing today is to ask those of you who are spiritually adventurous to listen to these videos and let me know if you experience the same sense of joy that I do. I should also mention that for the past few weeks since watching these videos I have experienced alternating periods of joy and anger. When I felt anger I used ZPoint to release the anger and this has served to increase the length of time that I stayed in the joyful feeling.
This morning I woke up at my usual time and immediately noticed that I felt an extreme sense of joy, so extreme in fact that it borders on being uncomfortable. It is now 1:30 PM in the afternoon and I have been feeling extremely joyful since waking. Now, you may think this would be a really good thing, however, feeling this sense of joy for such an extended period of time does take a little getting used to.
My question is, are there any others going through a similar kind of experience right now? Please write and let me know.
I went and watched the video and while I didn't feel any strong sensations, I enjoyed how I felt and felt there's something positive about this whole thing.
Yesterdays I watched it again (as recommended, a week after the first watching) and I felt again a subtle, but undoubtedly good feeling, and today I had one of the most relaxed days of my life where I was more present-minded than ever in my life. The interactions at the Uni with my friends (male and female) were very direct and from the heart, without ANY sort of holding back/second guessing/hesitation from my part, which I kind of unusual for me, coz I'm always at least partly in my head. I had a good day.
Now, I'm almost positive it's directly related to the energy from the video.
If you do watch, let me know if you experienced something, and especially if you experience unusual happenings in your life in the next days.
How to do it: The first video is an introduction that explains the background.
Then you should watch the second video, take a break of a few minutes, and then watch the second video again. Then it's good to take a break, perhaps lie down for 10 minutes or so...

Don't be lulled into believing in nonsense like this honestly, great if you feel it is helping you, but don't be fooled into believing it is legitimate. Honestly at best the people purporting this as true are misguided and delusional, at worst they are con artists exploiting human gullability and desire to believe in things like this.
I won't put this forward as fact, it is just my very strongly held opinion based on fact that this is bull...
I watched 4 minutes of the video and I felt totally nothing. Only some some thoughts running through my mind like " ok. ................? .....? ....... eh ? ...... wtf ... , big nothings happening ....? .....geez im gonna sit here like this for 10 minutes omG .... nothing t.t.... then even have to turn off my computer ........ wtf no way man, lets quit and do this later .......she said its ok to feel nothing .... ; o ? how is it ok ....lets wait .....still nothing geez ... .... k I quit for now ."
Alot of spiritualists will say you can only truly experience the effects if you come in openly and embrace the energy, also, like this woman does, will claim the effects can be varied or even non-existant. This is a wonderfully ambiguous way of covering all angles and also dismissing people who say they feel nothing as it is their fault and not the processes.
Also the whole palms up thing makes it exceptionally easy for you to imagine a tingling or other such sensation in the palm of your hands, try doing the same thing with your arms crossed and I'm sure it will have a different effect.
The position of your hands should not have a direct effect on this process if everything this wonderful woman claims is true, so try it in different positions to experiment! Also the claim to keep very still whilst doing this is effective towards creating false "feelings" (false in reference the vague assertions to "energy" e.t.c) I challenge anyone here, even people who don't believe in spiritualism or whatever the word is for this, to sit still back strait and hands resting at your side and focus on discovering the energy located in your left knee. Sit totally still whilst doing this and you may feel strange sensations or experience accenuated feelings in your left knee that when embraced, may open the doorway to the exciting, magical land of Narnia!
Last bit's a joke but seriously try sitting and doing what i said and see if you don't feel "Something" in your left knee as long as you sit still hands resting at your side, and try to locate the "Energies" there....

i too once thought that way, but now I know better.
Also, for a thing that's completely free and when you have absolutely nothing to lose if you try, you people are way to critical.
Can't you give it a shot and THEN dismiss it after you do it right?
It's like I gave you a medicine and then you don't follow the instructions and then say it sucks.
These videos just exploit the placebo effect. It's a damn shame I'm not fucking retarded or else I too may have felt experiences other than boredom from watching her videos.

There's nothing wrong with a little placebo effect now and then. I've read somewhere that around 70% of all medicine during the medieval ages is suspected to have worked by the placebo effect. If videos like this help some people calm down and focus their thoughts, or just stop worrying about shit for 10 minutes, then more power to them!

Only feeling I got while watching her sit there for a few seconds b4 i shut the video off was that I need to go get on iccup and/or go outside and find some girls. Whichever came first.
I can control my heart rate like some kind of monk or illusionist guy. My gf likes to lay her head on my chest and have me do it. She then gets freaked out when I make it go really slow and slaps me to make it go faster. what a bitch.
