Whether vegetarian diets are healthier than ones with meat is questionable and debatable, but if you're going to drop meat to be healthier then you better eat a great deal more fruits/veggies and a lot less, if any, cereal grains.

He can get protein from eggs or beans. Just because he's a vegetarian doesn't mean he's not getting protein. Actually learn your biology before you call people morons. The thing is, meat hives the most protein, but also contains fat. You can cut most of the fat in you diet by going vegetarian.

I also work at a pure vegan restaurant and it is NOT healthy food. The only reason I think we do well is it is the only place in town that is 100% vegan food. But again eating tons of fried food and fake meat subs is not healthy. www.lovinspoonfuls.com don't ever eat here the owner sucks and she insist on using expired product and not a few days we literally have vegi kielbasa and sausages that expired years ago, no joke. I never eat at the restaurant ever. She pays to well for me to up and leave though T_T like I would love to do. Get some good cook books. Make sure you get all your essentials (i.e. COMPLETE proteins etc) ( Great book with many great flavors and tends to be fairly healthy food, The Art of Indian Vegetarian Cooking by Yamuna Devi) To be honest I let my wife steer me in healthy food options, she works in the Nutrition field. She also teaches Nat 101 and Nats ummm some other number. She is much more schooled than I on such things if you have specific questions I can pass them on and then let you know.

She was a fat dumb bitch. Also, if you're gonna turn Vegetarian for health reasons. I highly recommend The China Study by Dr. Campbell so you can see the bullshit pseudoscience behind the vegetarian propaganda. That book convinced me to eat steak every day. I'm not being facetious.

That's just stupid. Health reasons aside, vegetarianism makes much more sense from an environmental/resource perspective as well.
