Cookie policy bottom bar has no "OK" button

The bottom bar that informs you about the cookie policy is, I believe, supposed to have an "OK" button that makes it go away. However, on my browser (Brave, Version 1.78.94 Chromium: 136.0.7103.60), the "OK" button is missing, and there's no way to clear the message from the UI. Screenshot

This has been reported twice previously (one, two), but I haven't seen any response, and the issue persists.

The workaround described in the second of those two reports (manually submitting a "click" on the nonexistent "OK" button via the console) still works.

Any chance we can get this fixed so the console jank isn't necessary to clear the message?

Let me know if there's more info I can provide that would help reproduce/troubleshoot the issue.

I had this issue once. I fixed it by temporarily disabling my adblocker (uBlock Origin) and reloading the TL front page. Which is probably why the TL staff don't respond to it since it involves adblocking.

Confirmed, disabling adblock brings the "accept" button back. Not a 3rd-party adblocker for me, though, Brave's native "shields" functionality is breaking it.

Good to know there's an easier workaround for this than console commands. Wonder what it is that's tripping adblockers, but only for the "accept" button, not the rest of the cookie bar.
