Just a quick question for all you fine, and hopefully travelling, folks out there.
This summer I'm going a week to England for a guitar summer school. I am really looking forward to it, but I still need to sort out the travelling issues. I'm trying to find plane tickets, but with so many companies out there, I don't know where to start, and I find the companies I've tried to have really complicated terms and fees.
Therefore I come to you, TL userbase, to hear where YOU have booked cheap flight tickets to and from England.

Cheap tickets you say? I used Wizz Air this month when I had to go to England. However, my flight was delayed with 40 minutes, and with 1 hour when returning. I don't know if it happens often with Wizz Air, but... I probably won't use them anymore. Despite delay, it was all fine.

I've used them plenty - pretty transaprent and easy to use.
You can try all of the budget airlines like easyjet but they normally fly out of the middle of nowhere and then charge you stupidly high prices for extras (such as guitars)
Alternatively, you could take a ferry and then the train *giggle* - though you will probably end up using a train at some point regardless of your original mode of transport.

ask the flight attendant if you can store your guitar in their closet

www.skyscanner.net Your best bet would (probably) be to go with a large reputable company that have clear T's and C's so you dont get absolutely raped when you turn up to the airport!

Thank you guys, gonna go with RyanAir I think.
Done some digging and even though their fees are crazy they are still like 50% cheaper than the rest.
