As far as I know, the only thing im 100% sure of is that Loius/Lastgosu was evading a WGT ban (life long as far as I know) under a different name. I know this because I saw his face. The other guy, I'm pretty sure is hellboy, since he told me he was... but who knows, maybe its that Neo)Riddler guy. Either way, a lot of his comments and actions conflict with what he saying, and I dont know why hes trying so hard to cover up.

Hey Phiwah was this guy here who is claiming to be NeO)Riddler very tall and hispanic? If not then he is lying because I have met Noah many times, and even flew him down here a few years back to hang out.
Hmm, to be honest, I couldnt really tell if he was hispanic, but he was pretty tall. Does he live in the NJ/NY area?
Anyways, I think this thread shoud be closed now, and we should let the wgt admins handle this. They can analyze the replays and make 100% sure.

who cares wether they hacked or not, there's bwscanner now, and lastgosu obviously doesn't hack

yeah we all know bwscanner is 130% correct

Whether or not Lastgosu still hacks doesnt mean anything. If someone murdered your family, was punished for a very short time, and then released back into the public, would statements such as "There are police out there, he obviously wont kill again". stop the killer from continuing his reign of terror?
This deals with justice. If someone breaks the rules, and is banned, then that is to stay in effect. If not, what kind of system do you have? and further more...what kind of justice are you showing to the public community, and to all of those people who rely on making sure this game is cheat free and honost. If people see that someone can do something to negativly affect the site, the ladder, and all the players he has gamed with...what message will others get? what about those who are already borderline willing to disrupt the ladder, and upon seeing such failed justice, feel as though they too can abuse things. If this user is in fact banned, then following through with that is just as important as the initial ban itself. We need to set an example so that future abusers dont have the safety and security of getting away with it anyway.
P.S Sorry for using such a severe example, but either way...breaking the rules should lead to punishment regardless of whats out there to stop a player.

BWScanner is to hacks what house arrest is to crime. Your analogy just doesnt apply. I'm not sure if he's evading a lifeban, but if he isn't hacking, then let him be.

If some dude raped 231 10 years old girls in one night, and is proved guilty, you're saying that aslong as someone's watches him, then we should let him be?
God let those hackers suffer a bit...

Some people wise up, most people don't, personally I don't think he will, you can kinda tell by his personality.
P.S: This thread is awesome!!

These analogies are horribly exaggerated. No one suffered emotionally or physically (I hope) if someone hacks in a game. If I cheat in a pick up game of basketball vs my friends, should I forever pay for that and be barred from the NBA? That would be manny's case (as far as I know), as for Lois, he should most definitely be banned because he screwed people out of possible money and anyone else who hacked in ladders or money ladders - it is just random nonladder games that don't make that much sense to me.

And i strongly aggree with those who fear that the system will crumble if bans are not enforced. You think a hacker cares about losing a nick? Cuz thats about all he's lost when he's banned but then allowed to just join back in under a new name again.

But cheating isn't acceptable. I remember a MLB player who always betted for the other when he played, and tried to work it his way. He got life banned from the MLB. I think he got unbanned only a few years ago... That's, imo, the kind of thing we should do to hackers who are on their 2nd chance (i think he got caught a long time ago)

Pete Rose is whom you're referring to. He was banned for betting on the other team when he was a manager. The only thing he was allowed to do again was go to baseball games (I believe), however, he's still banned from ever reaching cooperstown.
All of these analogies blow..this isn't real life..this is a game, for which everyone should be given ONE more shot. Just because people dislike lastgosu or hellboy, doesn't mean they shouldn't be given another shot. I seriously doubt either of them have even touched another hack after all the shit they had to go through, give them another shot, and please don't judge people by what others tell you.

They knew the rules. How fuckin stupid must you be to break them anyway? Second chances are for accidents or ignorance, not defiance.

What I don't understand is people complaining that life ban for maphack isn't fair.
Stop hacking and you won't get banned, fair?
Hellboy isn't getting a second chance, it was made clear anyone banned from the start of season 12 onwards wasn't getting a second chance, i'm not sure about Lois though, would probebly have to discuss that since he was caught in a pay event, I actually havn't checked up on him, if he hasn't made any accounts and gamed since he was banned, he might have a chance.
|
Baseball is a game too and please tell how playing playing a game over the internet is somehow not real?
|
I don't understand what people mean by "another chance." Its not as though they made a mistake and have asked for forgiveness, they knowlingly and premeditatedly sought to win on the basis of cheating. I can understand second chances for someone who's really sorry, says it was a mistake and it wont happen again etc, but when someone just sort of quietly resurfaces under a smurf, that doesn't seem to me like they want a "second chance," it just seems like they're being deceptive again.
