10K? With Halo, SC2, and CoD combined they will have well over 200,000 people watching streams at one time.

Where da starcraft at MLG?

No sympathy here! They should have seen this coming! This is what you get for poor planning MLG...

doesnt that count as a fail?

I guess this is why GSL usually starts their stream like 20 minutes early

No need to worry they still have 10 mins to fix before the pregame starts.

Set up amazing Venue.......Web site Hindenburges due to people spamming F5
Oh well nothing i can do. Just pactiently wait for it to get fixed

Well, yeah, it's an oversight, but that doesn't mean they should be demonized for it.

Yea getting that error for 10 minutes now, this sucks.

For the record, nothing has actually started yet, probably still working out issues since they do have to rely on the venues internet and have to take all their stuff with them across the country to each event, same thing happens at pretty much every MLG event but eventually straightens itself out... usually sooner than later.

All the tournament streams start at the same time? That's kind of stupid if you ask me.

Did they underestimate demand once again?
Man, I hope they didn't plan their capabiltiies (both online and offline) based on last year's numbers. SC2 has exploded more and more. More and more fans = I firmly believe last year's MLG viewership numbers will be dwarfed this year once again.
*crosses fingers the SC2 stream holds it together tonight*

Now that makes me optimistic about the stream. I'm sure Octoshape is going to handle it perfectly! Actually Octoshape is a P2P connection to reduce the server load if I understand correctly. So Octoshape is actually a lot easier on the server then going to MLG website. I just think a lot of people didn't like installing it on there computers. Anyone can correct me on the Ocotoshape comment. Edit: Power of the GSL hooking up the MLG maybe? Pretty much what you said really and a lot dont like octoshape because it just doesnt work on a lot of peoples machines.
