I'm thinking of starting a video blog about my attempt at musicianship from almost-scratch -- reading, writing, playing, producing, singing (oh god, singing.) Who'd be interested? I promise I won't record too much (see: any) singing until I know it's not absolutely terrible.
Basis for this idea is to actually motivate me and have something that forces me to keep working at it instead of just giving up this time around -- I've taken a stab at the guitar twice before, lasting no more than two months each time.
I've got a pretty good sense for direction and what's boring, so it should be entertaining; I won't slouch on the production, as I enjoy editing.

I'd follow you, hope it will motivate me to continue with guitar and music. I always start...and when my callusses start to form, I kinda just stop playing or something comes up that prevents me.

Between here, Facebook and NGR (another forum I frequent,) I've got nothing but positive responses, so I think I'm going to do it
I will definitely be asking for tips/help in the videos, guys, so make sure to respond if you can gimme some support! :D
I'll go for having the first episode uploaded this weekend.

it is not as easy as you think... trying to learn all that stuff is gonna take a long time and alot of practice so i have a feeling the videos will not show as much progress as you are hoping for... but if you need any help i teach music and would be happy to help

I'd love to see this. I always wanted to be a conductor, but found the whole process of learning music to be too much for me.

That is cool dude. I taught myself to play drums but I still cannot read music.... I am interested to how you will go about it.
