Will they come out before or after our prediction brackets are due :-P

I am setting up my Liquipedia page with all my predictions for win/losses, matches won and that stuff. Are all the rounds until the finals going to be Bo3, or is that just the first round?

The OP has been updated to reflect this and many other recently released pieces of information.

If two Koreans (or players living in Korea) are in the finals, will they still be flown to New York to play? Or will you negotiate to have the finals played in Seoul, with some TL/oGs guys as Referees?

Hey guys can someone answer a couple things I was wondering: 1) Are all rounds played on location or from respective countries and 2) OGSMC is in GSL finals just a few hours before the first day of TSL is he still scheduled for day 1?
|
Also if they are playing from their own countries which server will they be on? Judging from the lag watching Tyler's stream when he was playing on Korea server today, this is a serious issue now after the unfortunate catastrophic natural disaster.
|
Whoops sorry my questions were already answered. Really disappointing that such a major US tourney has a lag issue when the big Korean event would never tolerate such a discrepancy. We can do better!

Where was your question answered?
I have found this quote that just says "people will deal with lag"... + Show Spoiler +On March 12 2011 03:39 Ares[Effort] wrote:Show nested quote +On March 12 2011 03:18 Holgerius wrote:I'l like to reiterate the quesion regarding the lag issues between Korea and EU. and in the original post it says the maps are uploaded to NA and EU but nothing else no the subject. Which server are the games being played on?
|
First TSL, where are the streams aired? I see they cast from replays, but are the casts live? NM, got it. thanks.
|
So if I read this right, then all of the games will be played on EU/NA server?
|
Will there be vods? where will those be posted?
|
So, as it is not answered in the FAQ yet, what about replays? Will they be released for everybody or locked away from public like in GSL?

There will be VODs uploaded to the youtube channel and I'm sure the channels it's streamed from. But my question is in the same vain:
Will there be VODs for download like the past TSLs? There's something great about being able to upload them to portables and watch them on a plane flight or in places you typically don't get service. Even to this day, I can't help but watch the series from TSL2 between Ret and Sen.

Where can I watch these games? I don't understand, like is there a site they will be posted to a la gomtv? None of the threads really specify where to watch the videos - has this even started yet? So the TL open is qualifiers for the TSL right?

There will be a live stream of all the matches (you can see when it starts at the top right of TL). If you want VODs, they will be uploaded to the teamliquid Youtube channel as soon as possible after the broadcasts.

So what about the replays? Will they be released?

I'm curious how TL is keeping the results hidden from viewers before the broadcast. Are you having the players use anonymous dummy accounts? If you can't answer this, I understand--just curiosity.

wait this is tonight, during the gsl?
