So in my boredom, I spent some of the day looking at various riot videos on youtube, looting, burning, police beatdowns and such. Now I ran into this video that peaked my interest, horrible as it is.

And was wondering if someone would be nice enough to give me some backstory here, why were the Koreans protesting and rioting, did it really get so bad that the police had to do stuff like this ? I really dont wanna go wading through the youtube comment section for answers in fear of losing what little is left of my sanity. Basically im wondering when these protests occurred, and what was the reason.

No but that's pretty horrible by the police, made no sense at all.
Lucky it didn't seem to hit him in the neck, that would've been GG for that guy.

You should probably watch what you say. Although what they did was completely unnecessary(IMO), so is the language you're using.
And I think it's better to hate what cops have become, and how flawed the system is, but not the actual idea of them.

But I do not like that video, at all. I can't even believe that would do that. That was such a clean hit, I really doubt that he could have lived after that.. I can't even believe how incredibly painful that would be to experience as well, if you happened to live.
