PVP in this game should be unreal, good players will stand out easily. Language like this makes me skeptical of games, no offense. I am easily tempted by interesting gameplay mechanics, especially large scale and immersive ones, but when people talk about the game with so much confidence before it has been released it reminds me of all the times I have thought very highly of games only to be let down when I got to play them.

Amen to that, especially when it comes to MMOs. As much as I love seeing new concepts and games promising to be one thing, until I actually get my hands on it, I will remain skeptical. I would much rather expect a game to not live up to my standards, then be surprised that it is more than I had hoped for, than get myself hyped up for a game expecting one thing, and be let down once again.

On another note, the game looks better than ever. Love all the new footage. Youtube has a good number of videos, and there is a terafan thread with several linked. http://www.terafans.com/topic/5894-korean-stress-test-video-compilation/ Enjoy the new footage everyone, remember this is level's 1-20(of 60) for the most part, and lots of foreign players with 500++ping. That said, never seen such awesome game play at these levels. is just amazing.

GRIND! i know asians like to torture themselves by killing a single monster over and over again, but us europeans we really like innovative non repetetive gameplay. This is what killed aion for me and probably most of the other players out there. Im a pretty hardcore nerd when it comes to playing games and leveling, but Aion, i quit at lvl 48 when i had to walk around in circles for 12 hours, killing farmer zombies (the same farmer zombies from the starting area only they are lvl 50), to fill my exp bar for like 1/3. While the graphics were hot the dungeons and monsters were too repetetive. All Bosses were "tank 'n' spank" with no real tactics involved, just like a mob with more hp. for me to even consider this game i need proof that this is more than fucking aion without retarded air combat. *edit*: after browsing through the youtube vids posted here im even more scared. ppl saying "AWESOME GAMEPLAY", all i see is a guy hitting an awesome looking dragon for 6 minutes with zero skill/movement/tactics involved.

ppl saying "AWESOME GAMEPLAY", all i see is a guy hitting an awesome looking dragon for 6 minutes with zero skill/movement/tactics involved." I came to the same conclusion, but this game engine seems to have the potential for good mobility, aiming and tactics. But im afraid its something between hard and impossible to make a fun and entertaining rpg if it has a tank class, another gameruiner is be the balancing between pvp and pve, most skills that would be fun in pve would probably rape pvp. Examples: corpse explosion, teleport, confuse from diablo2 or edwards black tentacles/desintegrate/summon devil from d&d. Btw i hate the word "gameplay", there was a huge whiny post about the word in teamliquid, made by some game designer fellow. Reason why the word sucks, is because it means different things for different people, it can mean character controls, gamebalance, lagginess/stiffiness, amount of skills/spells.. basically anything but graphics/sounds, please be more specific.

Can anyone help? Really looking forward to play this game... You need to verify it. Tera requires an extra verification (the phone number thing) Only way to get around is this is either to: 1. Get someone in Korea to verify it. 2. Buy a verified account, that's what I did. (Won't go into detail how or where.) Anyways, I'm a level 20 Mystic player currently on KOBT, if anyone has any questions, I can try to answer them. Impressions: Gameplay is extremely fun. It might feel a bit too easy at first, but now that I've entered level 20 and been getting into party content, the game becomes challenging. The combat system works. I currently have slight delay lag due to servers being located in Korea, but I'm already loving how smooth it is, can't wait to experience it on 50 or below MS. I can't comment on the story or so, because its all in Korean. ;( Basically, it's an MMO that mixes old with new. And so far they've made it work.
