Figured it'd be a little funny in the midst of all of the Master league promos to post something about being bumped down from Diamond.
I did it intentionally. Not for a forum post or to face scrubs, but to learn a new race and get rid of the massive, unnecessary ego I had. I guess I could play custom games constantly, but they dont have the same feel as ladder matches and I'd still be more pissed off that I lost because I'm a "Diamond" player and not actually take anything away from the match. Plus, it takes FOREVER to find a player except on two or three maps.
As for my ego, it sucked all of the fun out of playing Starcraft. I'd always be nervous and unwilling to play another game unless I forced myself to and when I'd lose, I'd either be a dick or be pissed off. I've actually ended up on one of the rage threads as I recently discovered, which was a big wake up call.
I'd like to apologize to anyone I've BM'd on BNet (I WAS PaTRioT and now AM SovieT) as that isnt "who I am" and for the couple dipshit topics I've made on TL. And grats to all of you who hit Master League. Hopefullu you stay there for the reset :D

lol, the dev team said that the system almost worked too well and that games were always on the verge of winning and losing.

You have chat channels now mate, try finding a couple of matches on custom and see how well you do with TL players. Sure there won't be any records but it can help you. Plus it probably won't take too long to find a match;)

The very gravest of matters I could crave. Deep in the Burroughs of that town I found a young lad who showed me the way to the graveyard. It kept me going in tough times let's just say...There was a skeleton I found there that reminded me of you, reader, and whose fingers were quite bony like mine, but that's for another night. This is a tale of remembrance, a tale of sorrow, a tale of the acid shadows washing away my life. It took me only a few days to realize I had come all this way for a tireless need, oh such a wanton creed! I remember that night. I lay my sword beside the fire for careless soul and that fleeting harmony of the night. My blood cringes betwixt my soul.

If he were a soju brand, his ID would be Jinro.
+ Show Spoiler +Anyways, don't worry about ladder too much. Watch some streams of pro players laddering. Almost all of them (except for Idra) just play the game with little rage, and they just hop in and out of the game without much thought of the next game or the previous game.
I just got promoted back into Gold after dropping to Silver after switching from Protoss to Random. HuK's gosu laddering was my inspiration to grind my way through the ladder to reclaim my honor.

If he were from the 70s, his ID would be Fro.
+ Show Spoiler +This is starting to get awful, but the Poe joke was awesome.
