Actually, what I remember most is my father being all "stop playing this stupid game, go read a book or something" and then him staying up late at night to pew pew some ducks.

Prince of Persia for me as well, it was an awesome game! I managed to beat it several times in the 60minutes after lots of practice! Level 8 is by far the hardest.

Lemmings. Unless the Atari XE counts, in which case, it was Missile Command. Man, what a piece of junk Atari XE was, or at least the joysticks were. It kind of takes the fun away from playing when the button only works half the time. You young people with your gamepads and your motion sensoring, you couldn't possibly understand our pain.
