Lots of people like to rag on razer, but the DeathAdder is honestly one of the best mice I've ever used (I've tried other Razer mice like the Abyssus, Lachesis and Imperator). I prefer it to my old Logitech MX518, hands down. It just has the right mix of ergonomic feel (that isn't too constricting or forces a grip) and an excellent sensor. It stays clean easy unless you're a grimy dude. However, to try out another high end mouse I just bought a Xai Haven't used it enough to determine preference, but I like it upon first impressions. If after a while I feel it doesn't surpass the DeathAdder (which sets a high bar), I'll sell the Xai and buy the new generation DA.

Using the Mx510 by Logitech since 2003. It's a heavier mouse I feel compared to others but that's how I like it . It's also really durable. Still going strong after dropping it and spilling it with drinks. But I'm probably going to get a replacement this holiday (for change's sake). Anyone got recommendations for a medium heavy mouse that's cheap?

I can just recommend it to you, but the deathadder is quite heavy like mx518 - so if you want a light-weight mouse you should try RazerAbyssus or logitech intelli =) kind regards
