Was using a Logitech MX610... but it died to the point where I couldn't click and drag and sometimes it'd randomly double click instead of single click. Just bought a Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 v2.0. Bit chunky but feels good. Missing my volume controls on my mouse tho Before the logitech I used an Intellimouse explorer but that was mostly for FPS.
Mousepad... well, the one I got free with my WoW:BC SE lol. I don't fancy shelling out money for a mouse pad atm.

Deathadder, but most equal size or smaller Razer mice will be just fine too as long as it's not laser and not a copperhead.

I have this same setup

I used to use the Optical Microsoft mouse seen in an earlier post.
G500 is the one I recently got. One thing to note from this change is that the G500 is much heavier and this is without the weights they give you. This created fatigue for sure until I got used to it. I actually have my optical mouse next to me and everytime I touch the optical after using the G500, I always notice a huge difference in weight.
Besides that, the more ergonomic-ness of the G500 is nicer and bigger for my hand. I enjoy using the fast scroll wheel for fun. I don't use any of the side buttons except when going back and forth through webpages. This is pretty big for me because I usually did backspace to go back but I don't believe they have a keyboard key for forward.
The grip is awesome. The black you see on the sides is a rough surface to help you keep your grip. The top is smooth but you don't grip the top anyway. And every button is easy to click.
Gameplay-wise, nothing has changed honestly. If anything, I have become a better player but that is debatable.
Btw, anyone know if increasing the weight of your mouse is bad for your hand? I would assume it just makes your hand/wrist stronger but I couldn't find any info on this.

Setup for me but I'm switching to R.A.T. 7 soon.

Hahaha, that 'mouse' looks like some abomination out of some old horror movie, but worse. I mean, no doubt it's one of the best mouses around but the eye wants something as well. Not that you constantly have to look at your mouse but damn...

Logitech MX518 all the way :D

I might be dirty and mix and match brands ( to me thats dirty ).
Thinking of the logitech keyboard with the LCD display, and the Razer SCII mouse.

I used to use the Razer Naga which i bought about a year and a half ago until it broke around 5 months ago to no apparent reason, therefore i stopped using Razer mice and switched to Logitech!.
Right now I'm using the Logitech G5 with a Razer Destructor mouse pad, i recommend the G5 it's such a good mouse!.

I have an original mouse ball boomslang that still works ( razer ). That's at least 8+ years old .

I'm planning to buy this mouse and pad. Can someone confirm that palm grip works well with this mouse? Ty.

I recently just upgraded to the Razer DeathAdder and Steelseries QCK combo as well. Amazing feel, the mouse just glides on the pad.
I'm not a palm grip user myself (I prefer to claw), but after trying to work with it to get a feel I think that you might like it. It's very comfy and is built with ergonomics in mind.
If you've got a Best Buy or other sort of electronic store nearby, your best bet would be to go there and see if you like the fit of the mouse on your hand. The best mice are usually the ones that you feel most comfortable with.
For me, the DeathAdder and the QCK make an awesome combination.

Oh god does palm grip work well with this mouse. I have uber palm grip and needed something to fit that style. This mouse is great for it.

Thinking about buying an Abyssus, but Im worried about it breaking after 3 4 months. I wish I had another new G3...

I got my logitech g9x yesterday and i love using it with the fingertip grip. But i'm easily impress because i used an old logitech mini optical that i took when my school throw it away. Some people say that its heavy but the friction still feels very low and i would defintly recommend the mice.
But it all really comes down the personal preferance so just go to a store were they let you test mice and see what you like. I think that its more important that the grip fits you rather than having an extra good sensor.

This mouse is a pain in the ass to get used to, but pretty good once you do get used to it. I guess me using a notebook mouse for 2 years made it difficult getting used to a full sized mouse.

krait/abyssus/salmosa is where its at for sc II imo...
