Gom player and the GSL

So, all the re streamers have been banned and their accounts are getting locked on livestream. I can't afford to buy the premium ticket because I'm just poor. How the hell can I connect to the player?

When I try to launch the SQ stream at 11:00 CEST it says too many connections, the test stream only gives me an error message and the connect to URL thing gives the same error message about me not being connected to internet or something.

Is there any surefire way to connect via Gom player? or am i doomed to read the results when my favorite players play?

you need to download and install the gomtv streamer or whatever to watch the live stream with gom player

I was also getting an error message as well, so then I just downloaded the gom player again and reinstalled it. It worked! I don't know why it worked for me, but it's something you can try.

When you try the SQ Live Test, does GOM player open and THEN you get an error message?

If thats the case, press 'play' in the GOM player when you receive the error. Works for me.

I've subscribed the last two seasons, and the livestream works like 1/4th of the time. It's pathetic. I usually just end up watching on the restreams.

The test streams work 100% of the time for me.

Ya, there are always stupid issues with it. Try to reinstall, and on game day check the LR thread to see if anyone else is having problems and what solutions people come up with.

Yeah me too. I've heard of people having issues, but I've never had any myself.

It sounds to me like you need to reinstall GOMplayer.

I get an error message and I just keep trying. Reinstalling does nothing. You keep clicking over and over and eventually it will work. Its dumb.

Edit: Used to work perfectly fine for me and one day there was the error. After about 10 tries or so it works...

stream always works for me for 3 seasons of it. must be on your end.

Thing is, if you're outside of America (and maybe Europe), then you're screwed.

I've paid up for all 3 seasons, and the gom player lags terribly each time - especially during popular matches.

I've ended up still paying, yet watching the restream because I want to support GOM, but their outside of America/Europe service isn't up to scratch.

What do you do in this situatuion? Stick to vods only?

I have the premium and, more than half the time, can't watch the HQ stream, because it fails to find the server or some nonsense. Usually the SQ Test Stream works for me, though. If it doesn't then I watch the VODs later (although at the start of GSL3 there were some issues with that as well, for me at least)

I only hope that these issues are a testament to GSLs growing popularity and something that will be resolved. It may not help the impatient (or those unwilling to spend money) who want to see everything live and free right now, but I think it's been getting better and better each season.

Who would keep paying for a premium stream if they can't watch it? I would never re-subscribe to something that doesn't deliver.

They should atleast make the VODs free. Can't watch the official stream, restreamers are getting banned left and right, this just sucks.
