They require more minerals you to stick with one faction for the entire tournament.
Random counts as a race - thus, Gumiho won't be able to specifically pick a faction to counter a certain opponent. He'll have to play as full Random all the way.

Even more interesting, Interview in the foreigner's mom.
That too...LOL...probably ask Day 9 to do the interview or they probably will pay for the flight for them to go to the event.
Oh man, I woke up and didn't see Sen or Select in the "qualified" section and got super-worried. I thought they were playing day 1.
Bummer that Artosis and especially InControl got so close but didn't quite make it. I'm sorry I ever doubted you Inc, clearly you could have made it in.

He asumes that because they are playing the GSL qualifiers and because WC3 is dying that they practice SC2 more than WC3. I follow WC3. Moon has said countless of times that he practices WC3 more than he does SC2. He only practices SC2 when a SC2 event comes up which in this case is only GSL.
Usually I practice WC3 the most and when there is a SC2 event, I practice SC2 as well.
Quote from Moon.
Yes, and Im just not sure if I believe it.
Im not saying I know for sure or anything, especially now that his ladder account has slowed down a bit, but it would just make sense to me.

What's impressive is that he (as well as Lyn) probably only practice 2 or 3 hours a day of starcraft which is like a quarter of a normal progamer's practice time.
True RTS talent.
I would guess its the other way around - they only practice WC3 2-3 hours a day as that game is basically solved and the competition isnt anywhere near what it was, so I would think someone like Lyn or Moon only needs a few hours a day to keep up at the top level.
Nope. They both still practice WC3 more than they do SC2. Moon even said it in one of his latest interviews.
How can you know better than Jinro, who is in S. Korea nowadays, if you are from USA and only reading forums? U got some evidence of that??
I have no evidence to base this on and hadnt even read that interview (I randomly found it a few minutes after posting actually, unrelated to this thread) before it, its just what makes sense to me.

cause this is the last "open" tournament what happens to all the players not reach A or S class ?
cant they play in any more gsl's ??
so no chance for incontrol kiwikai etc to qualify anytime again =
There are qualifiers, but they are for Code A as Ive understood it. Code A tournament is also televised, the top battle bottom of Code S for S class status.
Don't give shit to random crap, Jinro! You own all of them.
Sad sad day for foreigners, im happy jinro and haypro made it through, but i was really really hoping for a qualify from kiwi and incontrol, two of my favorite protoss. Better luck next time guys, we still <3 you!
