And btw, Acecool, I am so jealous you got to play a couple games :D. How was your experience?
Hey, I had a good time. I knew going in that it was more of a nerd-bucket-list thing than a serious maybe-I-can-actually-do-this thing. They were surprisingly accommodating for foreigners, English clients, Junkka helping out, etc. I was expecting to have to play in Korean but then the guy loaded up the English client for me. When I lost and looked at the brackets, I figured Artosis would avenge me (watching over his shoulder, I believe he fought an infestor-roach battle against like 20 queens), and tho it sucks he lost, losing to someone who could also beat him makes me feel less bad.
I edited my above post with some match details. Good times. Had a friend who plays tomorrow take a few pictures. May try to get those up at some point.

WoW Crazy, no Inca, Top, Nada or Ensnare in GSL 3. Sad Face for Kiwikaki ><. The competition must be getting really intense over there.

Wow, Nada didn't qualify? That sucks. I thought GomTV are going to introduce seating coming into GSL S3.
Oh well, as far as July and Boxer(real one) qualify than its all good.
Hopefully we'll see July Zerg qualify and we see some Sauron Zerg.

If Tester also doesn't qualify in addition to SangHo and Inca I'm going to go on a rampage, Aiur needs Tester and HuK to honor her.

I really think that Huk will do extremely well in this tournament. In past tournaments I don't think he has been under enough pressure to perform and I think pressure will help him focus and do well in this tournament.

Congrats to Jinro and Haypro. I'm actually really surpised at the Koreans who didn't qualify. It's like...woah.
Better luck next time to manbearcontrol, Arty, kiwi, and flashlight next time.

Anyone know where I can find information on who all the notable players lost to in the pools?
|
wow, tough day on the foreigners, i really feel bad for inc kiwi and artosis. Sad to see sangho, top, ensnare, inca and esp nada fall too. But the fact moon qualified makes up for all of this, cant wait to see what he can do with zerg, its a race that fits him and his style so much better than terran. Go Moon, 5th race hwaiting !!! He's gonna be called 4th race in sc2 lolz :D

To be fair, there's a good number of threepeats: Maka, HongUn, TheWind, Zenio, Polt, Hyperdub, Clide. So it's only natural that some people like Nada would fail to make it.
Leenock qualified too... maybe he'll get his revenge this time.
