It's too bad Torch didn't qualify again. I was hoping for him to pull some sort of a Nestea (poor first showing, then dominating).

Haha, cheers. Yeah, I was fully expecting to get rolled as soon as I played. But, hey, how often am I going to be in Korea during open $100k tournies? It was like watching the World Cup here instead of back home, I mean, when in Rome... I played Toss. The player I beat was a Terran, and attempted to push Banshees both times. The first time he sort of MMM-balled and then techswitched, but not fast enough while I took out the FE and then his mineral line. The second time he must have gone almost straight after them, they didn't yet have cloak and died to some stalkers while harassing my minerals, while the rest of my army pushed into his non-walled base on a near-spawn Metalopolis. The player I lost to was also Terran, who MMM-balled the first game and marine/marauder rushed the second. I was hoping Artosis would avenge me but it doesn't appear that he did. I was also logged in, for some reason, as EGIdra, which was fun. Where most others had Korean names which were basically "TournamentIDXX", mine was Idra. It was nice that they had an English client on the computer, too, for me.

Some form of rush with each race that depending on your race would need a different response from your opponent. Also it would need to be too late to adapt to the rush once he scouts it. If that were the case, then there would be many more Random players in the tournament.

He asumes that because they are playing the GSL qualifiers and because WC3 is dying that they practice SC2 more than WC3. I follow WC3. Moon has said countless of times that he practices WC3 more than he does SC2. He only practices SC2 when a SC2 event comes up which in this case is only GSL. Quote from Moon. Yes, and Im just not sure if I believe it. Im not saying I know for sure or anything, especially now that his ladder account has slowed down a bit, but it would just make sense to me. I have no evidence to base this on and hadnt even read that interview (I randomly found it a few minutes after posting actually, unrelated to this thread) before it, its just what makes sense to me. Code A tournament is also televised, the top battle bottom of Code S for S class status.
