Can I petition for a Cup and/or Grand Slam? Having a post-season tournament will make a play-off race more fun. Especially if I realize that with the number of games left I cannot chase the leader. Also, a post-season tournament allows for the underdog aspect of competition. However, if I'm in the minority, then please, feel free to ignore me. Nothing stops us from taking the teams at the end of the first season and organizing playoffs for them. On November 06 2010 15:06 kingjames01 wrote: If you're in the UK, why aren't you asleep? Do you have any preferences about the teams? How does everyone feel about the Amazons going in the first round? Was that expected? They're not really OP. Of course you start with a ton of skills and 4 blodgers (block and dodge) off the bat, so they're very strong in the beginning when no one has gained skills (although they are going to cry if their first game is against dwarves). However, on the long term, when opponents start getting mighty blow and tackle on a couple players, and with only 7 armor, they will have a hard time.

If it doesn't make considerable progress today, I will add in a few hour 'window' for people to make their choice. If they can not respond during that window, I will move them down a few spots and keep going. Sound fair?

Yes, I think either that or send pm to 5 ppl at a time, if same race comes up the one who answers first gets the race.

I hate elves and I've played skaven before. I've never run an Amazon team; runny/bashy seems like fun. Looking forward to see what the rest of the selections are

Sorry for the delay, I'm at a conference at the moment. I'll post once I read my PM and decide.

I got 3 "advanced" teams: Nurgle, Goblins, Khemri. I've never played before so I don't really know the differences between these teams. I don't mind a challenge and I'd like to have a team that can still be competitive late in the season. Any thoughts?

Any thoughts? I would say nurgle is a pretty easy team to play. It's kind of a bash team.

Khemri got nerfed, still sort of ok I think. Might be trickier to play. Nurgle I'm not too sure, they look good on paper, somewhat similar to Chaos.

Goblins are weak, but fun. Don't play them if you have a weak heart- play them if you are capable of laughing when your players die. No idea about nurgle.
