I never played tabletop Blood Bowl but I usually found Specialist Games such as Mordheim and Warhammer Quest to be more interesting than vanilla. (4th-6th Edition are what I played) The problem I usually encounter is that developers tend take the Warhammer IP and do whatever they want with it, bastardizing the lore or mechanics in the process. In fact, the last Warhammer videogames I enjoyed were Dark Omen and 40k: Chaos Gate, which weren't exactly faithful to any rulebook themselves. I have few friends interested in anything related to Warhammer, so the multiplayer component means little to me unless I find the courage to join the TL Blood Bowl tournaments and get wiped completely. Is Blood Bowl: LE still worth purchasing, with this in mind? As an aside, will this game function on a P4 + mx440 PC? (A friend's, not my own) Thanks.

This should run on most stuff, if you turn the settings down it's pretty bare. Also, it's as close to the tabletop as any game will get. If you play in turn based mode, though I've only played the tabletop like twice, I'm pretty certain it's the exact same. Same rules and so on.

jsut try to avoid as many dice rolls as posibble, nuffle is a cruel master. And if i comes down to it pick a bashy army and just cage your way through anything, lizardmen work well for this as you can have 4 strength 4 saurus and a kroxigor as well as high agility dodging skinks which can break out of your cage with a movement of 8 if the opportunity presents itself for a touchdown.

I'm really impressed by the game so far. It's a very deep strategy game but at the same time so gloriously random. I've been practicing with a bro the last couple of days and just played and won my first game in the auld league. Considering the games release date there's still a surprisingly large amount of people online whenever I've checked. It was also really easy to get an understanding for the rules by playing or watching people play on youtube. I only skimmed over the rulebook and then only went back to doublecheck. Since this game has been on sale I thought maybe some of you have picked this up (again) and hope to maybe spark some interest in it again cause I'm having a really great time with it. Skaven are currently my most played team out of maybe two dozen games, but I plan on trying out multiple others. I really enjoy their ability to turn around the game on a whim and produce touchdowns out of nowhere. So, anyone who recently bought the game, share your stories and opinions.

It was some time since I played Blood bowl, both the pcgame or on fumbbl.com so I might be wrong. But my feeling was that tools for playing in leagues or tournaments and activity in such were low. I had expected the game to have such things built-in and on at least the same level as the fan-made alternative. Statistics and player rankings etc. were also not available in any easy way. All of these things are important to me, while graphics are not. I was a bit disappointed and didn't play it so much, so a disclaimer on my opinion though

the Chaos Edition came out days ago and I updated my Dark Elves Edition to it (10 bucks yay!) So much teams to choose and the matches are now easy to find via matchmaking (unlike the DE edition) , the only issue being that my wood elves are getting stomped in the ground by chaos dwarves and nurgle every match lol. So.. anyone from TL playing this atm?

Had the problem for several games, but it disappeared when I bought a new player, really wierd.
