Also, I think Championship mode favours the experienced. (Well, at least at the beginning until people get more games under their belts.) Can I petition for a Cup and/or Grand Slam?
Having a post-season tournament will make a play-off race more fun. Especially if I realize that with the number of games left I cannot chase the leader. Also, a post-season tournament allows for the underdog aspect of competition.
However, if I'm in the minority, then please, feel free to ignore me.

May I ask what advantages you enjoy, with having a draft in place? Anyone here who finds the draft appealing is welcome to answer this question, just wondering what things people like about it.
And yes, I personally feel a random draft is unsuitable for Blood Bowl.

I think that you will be PM'd 3 numbers that are randomly generated and you will have to choose 1 race that corresponds to one of those three numbers.

Its not necessarily seeds in terms of ranking, just a x3 d20 dice rolls to determine who you get to choose from.

Can I make a suggestion? Everytime that a coach finishes their respective drafting round, they should announce it in the thread. That way coaches who are lower in the drafting order can check up on how fast the draft is going and also roughly estimate how long it will be before it becomes their turn.

Looks like I've got time! Dead last

I don't get how anyone can like dwarves, atleast in bloodbowl. They are a one trick pony team and almost assuredly the most boring, lame team in the game. They're almost universally despised in the game's community itself.
Sorry!~

If you're in the UK, why aren't you asleep? Do you have any preferences about the teams?
How does everyone feel about the Amazons going in the first round? Was that expected?

Also, I'm really curious, what were your 3 choices? Why did you choose the Amazons? =)

Because i have a non existant sleep schedule atm, i sleep in the daytime And I don't have any competitive insight so I couldn't possibly say, my preference would be High Elf, but we shall see ^^

Well, good luck in the draft! I hope you a team you'll like. =)
I've never played a single game so I don't know anything about the specific races. I hope I get to choose the Undead because I really like Undead-type genres: zombies, necromancers, (zerg, hehe), etc.

Amazon is a pretty good choice, waiting for my pm
If you feel new to the game i would suggest not picking one of the races mentioned as expert races in the living rulebook.

Had to look up the "expert races" Ive been playing Khemri with little success, I never really thought about the different races learning curves.
Advanced races according to the game manual are... Chaos, Dark Elf, goblin, halfling, khemri, nurgle, ogre, vampire
|
Most of those are just listed for being below par teams and therefore more difficult to win with. Chaos and Dark Elf are the exception, but they are harder to play for different reasons.
