There's a reason every zerg hates playing zvz and has since beta. It's either a build order coin flip or a baneling micro mess.

I am pretty sure he has even admitted it. You don't need to be playing people on the level of Cool and Zenio to get good practice for a ZvZ against them. You just need someone to play the strategies you want to prepare against, and execute them well. Someone like Machine is more than capable of doing that.

People keep forgetting its bo3 which means its more skill than luck. By that logic, Fruitdealer isn't even one of the best 16 players in the world. One tournament means nothing.

Super control macro does fine in a game that's been worked out for 10 years, but in a game where new builds are literally coming out every day, you have to be creative and adaptive as well to truly excel.

Zenio may be better, but none of the reasons you listed have anything to do with it. Well give me reasons why he is not a better player?

No offence to EG who he probably doesn't even practice with cause of lag, but they aren't on the same level as top koreans. He can't be getting builds from Artosis and having no one to practice with

Idra impresses. 1st strat probably just caught him off-guard and then even more so at how effective it was. Investing into 3 overseers doesn't seem like a good idea but hey. 2nd game it was a bit of luck that Idra went lings for Zenio. It was a quick game but it could've been the other way around just as easily too. On such a long distance map going speedlings seems like a good idea. I think Idra will win season 4 gsl after owning face at all the mlg's in between.

When that match was over he is the better player because he won. Ever heard NFL coaches say today they were the better team?

There's a reason every zerg hates playing zvz and has since beta. It's either a build order coin flip or a baneling micro mess. Curious as to what your rank and points are, Because I play Zerg and Its rarely ever comes down to baneling micro except in late game when you can do baneling drops onto hydras to rape there hydra numbers. Baneling builds are wrecked by Roaches, I crush it over and over again noone uses it anymore in ZvZ cause its awful.

Idra is an amazing player compared to other non-Koreans, but I think Artosis and co. definitely inflate his skill compared to the Korean guys. From every match I've seen in this tournament Zenio has looked like the better player.
