So on the 20th of October, of the year 2010, I ordered a Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard off of newegg.com. It was on sale from $90 to $75, with a $20 mail-in rebate to get it down to $55, and a promo code to get it down to $35. I kinda bought it pretty quickly.
So it arrived today. Unboxed it, and...
Fwoosh. Dry ice. Saucy, Logitech.
jk,jk, really no dry ice. But this box was pretty big. And I mean...big. Like RB/GH guitar box big or some shit like that. Anyways, unbox it, and lo and behold, it looks baller. Oh my sweet, let me feel you. Oh how I've longed for you...for the 5 days since I ordered you.
To start off, this thing just feels good. The keys feel rubberized or something, and everything just feels really good. It's got some media player stuff up top like next, previous, stop, vol up/down, play/pause, mute and all that. It's got USB ports in the back to plug in your headphones and mouse. It's got a switch to switch it from normal mode to gaming mode [windows and shortcut key stop working when switched on gaming mode.] And, the two final touches.
Light up keys, with brightness of on, brighter, and off.
And
Wait for it
Dun Dun DUN!
an LCD screen that shows info, such as a clock, a countdown/stopwatch, a performance monitor, an RSS reader, and, when listening to music, info on the current song.
To sum up this thing in one word...
Beast.
P.S It also has support from popular games, like BW, WoW, Mass Effect, CS:S, and can show info from those games on the LCD screen.
Basically, what I'm trying to say in this blog, is that if you need a new keyboard, you should get this, but only if it's on sale. $90 is way too much for a keyboard imo, but then again I am kind of a scrooge when it comes to money

I beat the shit out of two G15s in only 3 or 4 years. Waste of money. If you're going to spend more than $10 on a keyboard buy a mechanical keyboard or you're just throwing money away. I'd recommend a Filco because Steelseries 7g has a stupid tiny backspace key and Razer Blackwidow is probably a piece of shit because its a keyboard made by Razer.

I would never spend more than like 10 bucks on a keyboard unless it was to buy a filco. I find flaws in every other board i see, but filcos are just perfect.

I had this keyboard, got it on the cheap as well. It was awesome feature wise, but a little big. In the end I ended up going back to my dell quiet key, and gave this keyboard as a gift to my friend.
For that price its definately a good keyboard. I am not sure it would be paying full price.
Glad you like it tho my friend liked the one I have him a lot.
If I do get another keyboard it will prolly be a mechanical one. Either a Filco, or the Blackwidow from Razer, as I have heard good things about it. Lots of people love to hate on Razer though.

Logitech? Fuck that, run with Logicool:

I need a new keyboard.
My Original G15 is done... My current Logitech Wave is getting unusable... sticky keys, nothing presses properly. Q_Q
Probably gonna get another wave my self.
The G15 I had, was awesome, but its useless for me when it comes to writing papers. The wave just feels so much better

I have an original G15 still working just fine going on +5 years now so maybe it's your fault that the keyboard didn't last. Perhaps you need to stop beating the shit out of keyboards.
He also only spend 35 bucks on one so lol suggesting a 100 dollar keyboard is absurd go read the thread before posting.$90 is way too much for a keyboard imo, but then again I am kind of a scrooge when it comes to money

Have had this keyoard for about 3 years now. It's decent, but worse than any mechanical keyboard,
