I think it's insane that Blizzard figures it has any right to control what people do with the game after they bought it. Adobe does not have any right to images created by Photoshop and I think that's a pretty fair analogy. Guess I'm old fashioned.

I'm just saying that they may not seem as altruistic as it seems.

Then again, we've known for a while that MBCGame was pretty poor.

10 million won is about $9,000 so if its for each season of the MSL/OSL it seems pretty reasonable, however if its for each time it airs that seems like it could get pretty steep. I am assuming its per episode which is what is haltering the negotiations but its not specified in the translation.

Despite the fact that Gretech is not asking for a lot. I would like to see OGN's profit numbers. I would appear that Gretech is asking for more than they said. Maybe they need some additional form of revenue.. It was starting to become evident around the NATE MSL though I'm sure the problems ran deep before that. A lot of the NATE MSL broadcasting seemed kind of rushed in terms of trying to broadcast it in as little airtime as possible (cutting off intros, camera angles, etc). It just felt a little less formal than what we've seen MSLs traditionally is. Compared to OGN, MBCGame seems to be faltering quite a bit though they've seem to have found a new balance for now.

Does GSL even use the original sound track for a second option?

Photoshop/AutoCad/3DsMax have commercial licenses that allows you to make money off the work that you create with those tools. Technically, without the commercial license, you are not allow to sell your work for profit.

If you want bullshit PR just read some of gretech's releases, they aren't acting in the interest of e-sports by trying to eliminate competition.
