- One player played very well, but his opponent played amazing. Watch this right now!
- One player played very well, usually with a great micro move or strategy. A must-watch game.
- One player played solid, his opponent played average. If you have time, watch.
- One player played average, the other played poorly. Don't bother watching unless you're a fan.
- One player played very badly. Not worth watching at all.
No stars - One player failed, usually in a very hilarious way. Actually very watchable just for laughs.
Remember, we're recommending games to watch assuming a neutral viewer. If you want to have TLO's babies, you probably don't need our recommendation to watch his games. If you don't wan't to wade through all the recap text, here's a short list of our ratings for each series.

"Nice try, JSL"
sSKS (Tester) < 2-0 > JSLZenith -
Game 1 @ Scrap Station + Show Spoiler [Show Recap] +
Both players open expand, JSL progressing to drops while Tester adds colossus and immortals. JSL starts drop harassing, and initially Tester does a good job deflecting it, but eventually JSL abuses the long walk distance from the back of Tester's main to the front choke. JSL secretly takes the gold, while constantly dropping to take out a nexus, warpgates, and pylons. At this point in the game, Tester is only on one base while JSL has three, one of which is a gold. However, JSL pushes his advantage a bit too much, losing several full medivacs to feedback and stalkers. Tester takes his third and scouts JSL's gold, which now has a planetary fortress there.
JSL continues to drop in his main, but Tester splits his army and defends without great losses. JSL snipes a few colossus with his vikings, but Tester has added templars and storms to his army. JSL does a good job of drawing Tester's army out of position, running into Tester's main and killing the robotics and later the templar archives. JSL drops again, killing most of Tester's warpgates in his main. Meanwhile, Tester has decided it's finally time to attack, and a huge battle occurs at JSL's choke. Tester blankets JSL with storms and JSL is unable to defend because many of his units are in Tester's main killing structures. By the time JSL brings his units back, it's too late.
Tester wins possibly the best game in the Ro64, but the game was much closer than anyone had anticipated. This game shows just how patient and confident Tester is -- many other P's would have countered instead of coming back to save their base over and over.
- Tester had to play nearly to his full potential in the Ro64. JSL did a great job exploiting the layout of Scrap Station with medivac drops, but a few key mistakes cost him -- he overestended slightly with drops, and didn't have any ghosts with EMP to deal with Tester's templars.

JSL opens 1-rax reactor into command center, then goes 5 rax marine marauder. Tester opens three warpgate into colossus. JSL cuts SCVs and gets all three infantry upgrades, planning a timing attack for right before Tester's first colossus. JSL moves out at the exact time, and the armies engage at Tester's wide open natural.
Battle begins:
JSL: 20 marines, 11 marauders (all 3 infantry upgrades)
Tester: 5 zealots, 8 stalkers, 4 sentries, 1 immortal
Battle ends:
JSL: 2 marines, 3 marauders
Tester: 1 zealot, 7 stalkers, 4 sentries
(Both players reinforced during battle, these units are included in the end count)
This was probably the single greatest forcefield split I've witnessed in a competitive SC2 game. When I saw the armies, I thought for sure that JSL was going to win the fight, but instead Tester defended easily, splitting JSL's army completely in half with 7 forcefields, and then threw down 4 more to prevent retreat. Tester busted out absolutely perfect micro at a critical time.
Meanwhile, JSL's mouth is still open at how badly his timing attack got crushed by a no-colossus army. His tech is very late due to the all-in nature of the attack, and Tester's thermal lance colossus easily outrange JSL's bunkers, and Tester easily ends the game.
- Watch this game right now because Tester is a magical forcefield wizard. Awesome battle micro from the world's #1 Protoss.

Tester - A+
Easily the two highest level Protoss games we've seen thus far. Tester stayed calm despite a disadvantage in game 1, and somehow turned a bad situation in game 2 into a winning play. After seeing these games, can anyone doubt this guy is the tournament favorite?
JSLZenith - A-
JSL had a great strategy and timing, but Tasteless said it best: "JSL stepped into the road when a player was driving the ownage bus." JSL played well enough to beat most of the Protoss players in the Ro64, but was just drew unlucky brackets.

"Keeping's Dark Templars are so ninja they make text invisible."
KeepingWeRRa < 2-0 > jjonga -
Game 1 @ Steppes of War + Show Spoiler [Show Recap] +
Jjonga opens one zealot harass, getting one probe. Both players go warpgates. Keeping fakes warpgate allin and instead gets DTs and an expand. Jjonga has a robotics, but goes colossus before obs, so Keeping's first DT gets 7 kills. Jjonga goes to counter, but Keeping sneaks in a second DT which gets another 10 probes. Jjonga attacks and breaks through, but Keeping uses four stalkers to snipe jjonga's only observer, allowing his DTs to defend and win him the game.
- Great sneaky strategy from Keeping, and awesome observer snipe at the end. Jjonga seemed nervous and flustered, but that tends to happen when there are DTs in your main.
- Great sneaky strategy from Keeping, and awesome observer snipe at the end. Jjonga seemed nervous and flustered, but that tends to happen when there are DTs in your main.
Jjonga proxy gates in Keeping's natural, killing several probes. Jjonga looks massively ahead, 17 to 11 probes with equal tech and buildings, but Keeping counters with 4 zealots, while jjonga only has 2, pulling probes to defend. Jjonga then counters with four zealots but loses them to 2 zealots, a stalker, and probes. Keeping then goes all-in with 4 warpgates and a proxy pylon below jjonga's ramp, while jjonga goes 3 warpgate robo. Keeping attacks, and jjonga's first sentry was a split second late with the forcefield, so Keeping breaks through and wins by reinforcing his attack with warped zealots.
- Keeping stayed cool despite the early disadvantage, and managed to pull out a win. Jjonga made one bad decision, getting a robotics when he needed another warpgate. A very exciting and back and forth PvP.

KeepingWeRRa - B+
Keeping showed he is well rounded, doing an unorthadox micro-oriented strategy in game 1 while playing standard to defend in game 2. He lacked the "feel" of a top player like Tester or Cool, but was very solid in his wins.
jjonga - B-
He didn't do anything especially bad, but was clearly affected by nerves, judging from his reactions after his losses. A former Brood War progamer, jjonga did not live up to his potential in the GSL. Mediocre play and a disappointing series from the former CJ player.

"That's our nerd out there!"
NEXFreeSaGA < 2-1 > Artosis -
Game 1 @ Blistering Sands + Show Spoiler [Show Recap] +
Artosis opens standard expand into lair, lings, and roaches with a few spine crawlers to defend. Freesaga goes 3 warpgate into expand, walling in with another gate and forge. Freesaga breaks the back rocks but Artosis baits him into his main and kills most of the army with a nice surround. Artosis takes a third while Freesaga gets 3 robotics, getting colossus and immortals both. Freesaga's army attacks, and Artosis does not have corruptors yet. Colossus, immortals, and some nice forcefields easily crush Artosis's army.
- Artosis was ahead early game but scouted the triple robotics too late. Freesaga did a good job coming back with the right unit mix to kill the roach hydra army, as his extra immortals were huge in the decisive battle.
- Artosis was ahead early game but scouted the triple robotics too late. Freesaga did a good job coming back with the right unit mix to kill the roach hydra army, as his extra immortals were huge in the decisive battle.
Artosis opens expand into mutalisk, while Freesaga guesses right, going two stargates without scouting muta at all. Artosis trades his first five mutas for ten probes. Artosis expands to antoher main and gets infestors, doing a good job against phoenix harass with fungal growth. Freesaga switches to a ground army while Artosis techs quickly to hive and ultras with upgrades and mass speedlings. Freesaga attacks, using his colossus as a siege tank, but Artosis's ultralisks hatch just in time and he surrounds and crushes Freesaga's army. Freesaga loses his natural nexus to ultras and Artosis expands all over the map, eventually crushing Freesaga's final army with ultra ling hydra.
- Great play and calm reaction from Artosis despite the build order disadvantage. Freesaga did not have the right army contribution to fight ultra ling, as Artosis's ultras barely took damage the entire game.

Freesaga opens warpgates and forge into expand, while Artosis expands and techs to mutalisks. Freesaga goes for fast +1 and mass stalkers, abusing blink on the high ground in Artosis's main. Artosis takes a third and gets a large group of mutalisks to harasses, but Freesaga techs to DTs and takes out Artosis's third while Artosis scrambles to make overseers. Eventually, Freesaga's stalker ball becomes too large to manage, and with +3 attack, the stalker ball rolls over Artosis's mutas and spine crawlers.
- Nice use of surprise DTs from Freesaga. Had Artosis prepared properly for DTs he may have had enough to defend, but he was simply unable to recover from losing his third base like that.

NEXFreeSaGA - B+
Great play in games 1 and 3. He got outplayed in game 2 despite guessing right on strategies. Didn't seem to have the "special" quality that Tester or Cool exuded during their games, and seemed quite vulnerable had Artosis scouted better.
Artosis - B
Put forth an A-level effort in game 2 but could not sustain that level of play throughout all three games. Very close to winning game 3 but ultimately couldn't pull it out. "That's my nerd!" Tasteless cries as Artosis is eliminated.

Freesaga thinks DTs and mass stalkers are funny; Artosis does not.
"Rainbow Road"
AstraeaWeRRa < 0-2 > HopeTorture (Rainbow) -
Game 1 @ Kulas Ravine + Show Spoiler [Show Recap] +
Astraea opens reaper into marauder and a secret gold expansion, while Rainbow goes banshee marine. Astraea stims, scans, and kills the first banshee, but Astraea scans a few seconds late for the second one, wasting a scan. Rainbow's third banshee wrecks house, dealing lots of damage while avoiding Astraea's turrets. Meanwhile, Rainbow expands and moves out with marine medivac and Astraea GGs after seeing Rainbow's army.
- +1 for some nice Banshee micro by Rainbow, but Astraea was clearly outclassed here. His reaction and micro mechanics were simply not good nough to keep up with Rainbow's banshees.
- +1 for some nice Banshee micro by Rainbow, but Astraea was clearly outclassed here. His reaction and micro mechanics were simply not good nough to keep up with Rainbow's banshees.
Both players open rax factory starport. Astraea goes for a 8 marine drop with two hellions in the front, while Rainbow makes a banshee and some marines, trading them Astraea's hellion marine army. Rainbow's one cloaked banshee dodges a scan and starts going to town in Astraea's base. Astraea counters with four vikings and one medivac with a tank and marines, but Rainbow defends perfectly with marauder marine. This allows Rainbow to secure his natural and take a third as well. Astraea attempts to take his front natural, but Rainbow finds a hole and kills Astraea's tanks with two banshees. Astraea taps out.
- Dominated. While viking tank wins against marauders in large numbers, Rainbow never let Astraea get there, effectively using his banshees to keep Astraea contained.

Rainbow - A
Never in danger, Rainbow was in control the entire two games. He's just a class above Astraea.
Astraea - C-
Tasteless said this guy had low APM, and that's unfortunate when you have to micro against banshees. Astraea's builds and strategies just had too many holes for Rainbow to exploit.

"Losira is TLOwned"
LosirA < 0:2 > LiquidTLO -
Game 1 @ Xel'Naga Caverns + Show Spoiler [Show Recap] +
TLO opens super fast factory, forcing Losira to get fast roaches to defend his expansion. TLO uses the hellion's greater mobility to keep the roaches contained, but Losira sneaks out a couple roaches, killing a few SCVs and forcing TLO to stop mining and come home with his hellions. TLO gets thors and tanks while Losira repeatedly trades roach armies for thors. The first few trades seemed worth it, but Losira starts to overextend himself, losing more and more roaches each time. Both players take their thirds, and Losira takes his fourth, a gold base. TLO finally pushes and Losira backstabs, forcing TLO's third to lift. But TLO has walled off his natural with starports and tanks, allowing his army to continue attacking instead of coming home. TLO's mech army kills all of Losira's expansions while Losira desperately techs to broodlords. Several broodlords spawn, but it's too late and Losira GGs when he sees TLO's vikings.
- TLO defended very well and attacked at the perfect timing, right before broodlords. Losira didn't play that badly but just couldn't crack TLO's defense or tech to hive in time.
- TLO defended very well and attacked at the perfect timing, right before broodlords. Losira didn't play that badly but just couldn't crack TLO's defense or tech to hive in time.
TLO opens fast factory again, and this time runs his first hellion right by Losira's queen at the ramp. TLO rallies hellions into Losira's main, and when the opening harass was done, TLO scored over ten drone kills, enough to put him very comfortably ahead. TLO expands, and then harasses with dropships filled with marine marauder, exploting Losira's lack of hydras by dropping marauders directly on top of baneling clumps. Losira is too busy defending to take a third, and when he finally moves out with baneling roach, TLO's army is just too large. TLO even hid several tanks behind his high grass, which surprised Losira's roaches as they attempted to break TLO's backdoor rocks. After another minute or so, TLO moves out and easily breaks Losira's natural.
- A one-sided but entertaining game. TLO completely outplayed Losira right from the start. If you're a TLO fan both these games are 5/5 for you, as TLO not only won but pulled off some stylish moves as well.

LiquidTLO - A
He had a plan and executed it well. Strong micro and decision making, especially with his hellions early game.
LosirA - B-
Tasteless and Artosis said this zerg was actually not that bad. He played so-so in game 1, his defense against harass in game 2 was horrendous. Losira was just a step behind TLO in both games. This guy was a former progamer on Hwaseung, but I guess the skills didn't transfer over well.

"NewWeRRa checkmated by mutas and roaches."
CheckPrime < 2-0 > NewWeRRa -
Game 1 @ Lost Temple + Show Spoiler [Show Recap] +
New opens forge nexus, a very similar build order as Brood War PvZ. This allows Check to power drones for the entire early game as well as take a third. Check gets mutas and a ton of spine crawlers at his natural, using a nydus to take both islands as well. New is not prepared for the mutas and takes a lot of harass damage. New takes his gold and attempts to tech to storm, but Check snipes the templar archives just as storm was about to complete. Now, Check has 10+ gas and 2/1 muta upgrades and can just attack move his mutas through New's stalker army. New finally gets storm, but it's too late, as Check has the entire map and wins with ultralisks.
- Check's harass was great but it was more because New failed to react properly to mass mutalisks. He could have had templars and storm much earlier, or at least put a few cannons in his mineral lines. +1 for many ultras late game.
- Check's harass was great but it was more because New failed to react properly to mass mutalisks. He could have had templars and storm much earlier, or at least put a few cannons in his mineral lines. +1 for many ultras late game.
Check opens expand into burrowed roaches. New does the standard warpgate sentries with a forge and expand. Check takes a third, but New scouts it and kills it, but Check backstabs with roaches and kills New's natural nexus. Both players take their gold thirds. New has added Colossus to his army, but Check drops New's main, taking out the nexus there. While New returns to defend his main, Check has a second group of roaches kill New's gold. New finally attacks, but Check's army of roaches is just too large.
- Nice two pronged attack by Check. New didn't really do anything execept make units this game, and like Tastosis said, Check ran circles around him.

CheckPrime - A
Check was never in danger of losing either game. He could've managed his economy or micromanaged a little better, but that's nitpicking.
NewWeRRa - C+
He made a lot of units but was completely unprepared for Check's tactics and strategy. Macro itself is not enough.

"Do not anger the Starcraft gods."
DosWeRRa < 1-2 > Hyperdub -
Game 1 @ Lost Temple + Show Spoiler [Show Recap] +
Hyperdub opens 2-rax marauder while Dos drops both a robo and a stargate for phoenix and immortals. Hyperdub puts on some early pressure and invalidates Dos' attempt to play a one-base style. Hyperdub tries a raven/banshee/bio push, but Dos gets storm out in time to hold it off. Dos takes an expansion at 12 while Hyperdub masses up banshees and ground units. Dos continues to expand and macro and manages to pull ahead for the win with solid storms.
- Early flubs by Dos were erased by solid mid-game play, and Hyperdub stayed on two bases for too long.
- Early flubs by Dos were erased by solid mid-game play, and Hyperdub stayed on two bases for too long.
Dos sneaks a probe into Hyperdub's base and gets two gateways up behind the wall of steam, chronoboosting out zealots, but Hyperdub manages to get a reaper out and into the protoss base, killing off all the probes while he holds at home, winning the fast game.
- Proxy gates all-in vs counter reaper, not much to say.
- Proxy gates all-in vs counter reaper, not much to say.
Hyperdub opens with a heavy 4-rax marine army while Dos gets an early robo and stargate. Hyperdub puts on heavy pressure while Dos tries to hold the wide ramp with forcefields to buy time for his cannons to warp in. Dub scans from below the ramp and kills the cannons, and is able to walk up the ramp as the protoss's forcefields run out.
- A heads-up scan from the Terran won this game as the Protoss teched hard early and had too few units to hold off the ball of marines.

JustfakeWeRRa < 2-0 > eScJung -
Game 1 @ Scrap Station + Show Spoiler [Show Recap] +
Justfake opens with a 2-1-1 build, opting for reactor marines and tanks while the toss plays standard, getting an early robo for a quick obs. The toss moves into chargelots with phoenix and tries to execute a flank on the initial push, but the push is far too strong and wins easily.
- Jung's phoenixes were unable to help stop Justfake's powerful early push.
- Jung's phoenixes were unable to help stop Justfake's powerful early push.
Both players open standard, Jung getting an early robo as the terran opts for an early CC and 3 rax to take the safe back expo. Both players mass up for a while, but Justfake dominates the encounter in the middle, with his vikings destroying the colossus as the ground army mops up the poor protoss.

AnyproPrime < 2-1 > NEXHansin -
Game 1 @ Scrap Station + Show Spoiler [Show Recap] +
Hansin opens two rax with one reactor and one tech lab as Anypro opts for a one gate robo build. Hansin moves out with an early force of marines and a reaper, sniping the sentry on the ramp. The two rax rally overwhelms the Protoss as the marines make short work of the immortal as it spawns, and the Anypro GGs shortly after.
- The early rush caught Anypro totally off guard and led to a quick win for Hansin.
- The early rush caught Anypro totally off guard and led to a quick win for Hansin.
Hansin tries for a similar build, but Anypro is able to hold the initial pressure with stalkers and the smaller ramp. Terran bunkers below the ramp and toss is forced to open his destructible rocks. Hansin gets an early expo while Anypro builds 4 gates and colossus. Anypro attacks through the back rocks, and although he loses the colossus to vikings, he is able to crush the terran ground army and take the game.
- Hansin didn't prepare well enough for the Protoss all-in, allowing Anypro to walk directly into the back of his base and continually warp in units.
- Hansin didn't prepare well enough for the Protoss all-in, allowing Anypro to walk directly into the back of his base and continually warp in units.
Hansin opens with the same build for the third straight game, but misses an early depot and is forced to compromise his strategy. He gets an early starport and manages to snipe the first observer, following up with unsuccessful medivac drops as he falls behind the protoss' bigger economy. Terran is unable to mass enough vikings to deal with the colossus numbers and falls to Anypro's counter after the engagement in the middle.

"Genius unable to outsmart proxy barracks."
DAVIT < 2-0 > NEXGenius
Game 1 @ Delta Quadrant + Show Spoiler [Show Recap] +
Davit opens with a fast dual proxy rax outside the protoss base and bunker pushes directly at Genius. Genius tries to micro with zealots and probes but is unable to stop it and GG's after just a couple of minutes.
- Late scouting let Davit pull off the marine rush with little trouble.
- Late scouting let Davit pull off the marine rush with little trouble.
Davit opens with 2 proxy rax again, opting for a fast marauder rush with very fast concussive grenades. He gets up the protoss ramp and forces probes off the mineral line for too long, leaving the toss too broke to afford an immortal to hold after his force field wears off.
- Davit gets away with early aggression yet again, and Genius will be scouting like a madman every game for weeks.

"TheWind breezes after Miso's baneling error."
oGsTheWind < 2-0 > MisoZenith -
Game 1 @ Steppes of War + Show Spoiler [Show Recap] +
Both players decide to open with a roach warren, but theWind manages to snipe two early drones with his first four lings. Miso grabs a quick expo while Wind gets a fast lair and spire, blocking his ramp with roaches. Miso keeps on roaches and makes some spine crawlers, oblivious to the impending mutas. Miso pushes out with his roaches but loses critical time after turning around when he spots the first mutas pop. Wind counters after holding off the roach attack and Miso is simply unable to defend.
- Miso decided not to scout and just made roaches, finding himself in major trouble when big boss mutas crashed the party.
- Miso decided not to scout and just made roaches, finding himself in major trouble when big boss mutas crashed the party.
TheWind opens hatchery first while Miso grabs a more standard spawning pool into baneling nest. TheWind morphs 7 early spine crawlers to cover his main and natural as miso hammers away at the back door rocks. Miso inexplicably decides to crash his all his banelings into one of wind's queens, and the sunkens easily hold the remaining lings. Both players then switch to macro mode, TheWind getting mutas while miso gets a spire but opts rather for hydras. TheWind pulls an old BW trick, placing a hatchery outside an expo to mine gas from the side. TheWind executes simultaneous attacks on the main and natural with lings and mutas and miso flounders, flustered and unable to deal with the multiple pronged attack. Miso attempts an all-in counter but fails and TheWind advances.
- TheWind put on a ZvZ clinic and Miso can only watch as he's completely outmatched. Reminder: banelings aren't good against queens.

"Clide's old school mm tank micro too much for Gerrard."
GerrardPrime < 0-2 > ClideTSL -
Game 1 @ Delta Quadrant + Show Spoiler [Show Recap] +
Clide opens with a standard fast reaper build as Gerrad goes early roach warren. Gerrad goes for an early roach counter, but Clide is able to get a bunker with marauders and hold off the counter. Gerrad gets his natural and clide takes his back expo. Clide makes a lot of reapers for harass, but the Zerg is able to hold it off with roach baneleing. Clide moves into some harassment drops to take advantage of the zerg's lack of air while he macros up and takes his natural. Gerrad makes some mutas and holds the middle, but his attack on the main falls short of ending the game due to too few banelings. Clide keeps macroing hard and eventually pushes into the Zerg, killing the army and taking the game.
- Gerrard had chances to win, but Clide's micro kept him in the game, taking far less damage from banelings than he should have.
- Gerrard had chances to win, but Clide's micro kept him in the game, taking far less damage from banelings than he should have.
Gerrad opens hatchery first while Clide instead opts for pre-igniter hellions. Clide gets hellions in the main but kills no drones thanks to Gerrad's active defense and drone movement. Clide gets an early medivac to drop hellions in the main but Gerrad defends very well, losing only a couple of drones while getting his spire out. Gerrad double expands and pops out some infestors but loses them while dropping fungal growth on Clide's army. Clide kills an expansion and Gerrad's ultralisk tech is too late as Clide's huge marine army goes to town.
- Clide's early hellion harass didn't do much, but he still rolled Gerrard with excellent macro and micro.

"One base colossus versus two base warpgates x3"
Bleach < 2-1 > SsojaWeRRa -
Game 1 @ Steppes of War + Show Spoiler [Show Recap] +
Both players open 2-gate into warpgate, Ssoja adding 2 gate and Bleach getting a robotics. Ssoja gets an expansion and blink, while Bleach gets an obs and robotics bay. Once Bleach gets 2 colossus, he attacks. Ssoja attempts to blink and snipe the colossus, but the rest of Bleach's units do too much damage to Ssoja's army. Bleach warps in units from a nearby proxy pylon as well, and his attack is successful.
- Ssoja failed to defend his wide natural ramp, and mismicro'd against Bleach's colossus. He may have held if he used forcefields to split up Bleach's attack, but he chose not to.
- Ssoja failed to defend his wide natural ramp, and mismicro'd against Bleach's colossus. He may have held if he used forcefields to split up Bleach's attack, but he chose not to.
Ssoja opens with two fast gates, using chrono on his first 3 stalkers. Bleach opens gate robo gate, and only has 2 stalkers and 1 zealot vs Ssoja's 3 stalkers and a zealot. Ssoja's attack does quite a bit of damage, and by the time Bleach can drive it away with an immortal, Ssoja already has a nexus building and adds four more warpgates. Bleach expands as well and techs to colossus, but even with 4 colossus defending, he dies to Ssoja's attack. Ssoja just had too many warpgate units, using his stalkers to blink to get within range.
- Very nice early pressure into expand strategy by Ssoja, and then good micro on the attacks later on.
- Very nice early pressure into expand strategy by Ssoja, and then good micro on the attacks later on.
Ssoja tries the same rush, but Bleach has a sentry and forcefields to stop the rush with no major losses. Ssoja expands after, but this time Bleach did not take damage. Bleach stays on one base and moves out with the same 2 colossus attack, and this time Ssoja does not have enough units to hold his expansion, and Bleach rolls through with nice forcefields.
- Same strategies from both players with the one huge difference of Bleach defending the opening rush much better. Predictable result after the opening attack.

His strategy in game 2 was well executed, but he should have had something different prepared for game 3, as his rush probably would only work once.

"Banelings or no banelings? That is the question."
oGsZenio < 2-0 > MythPrime -
Game 1 @ Kulas Ravine + Show Spoiler [Show Recap] +
Zenio opens banelings nest while Myth opens reapers. But Zenio lets Myth scout the baneling nest, probably on purpose, and then immediately goes spire. Myth makes marauders to counter the banelings, and is completely unprepared for the mutas. Myth counters with his marauder reaper army but Zenio does a nice surround with speedlings and wins on the heavily TvZ favored Kulas Ravine.
- Normally would be 2 stars, but +1 for a Zerg winning on an imbalanced map with a nicely executed, deceptive strategy.
- Normally would be 2 stars, but +1 for a Zerg winning on an imbalanced map with a nicely executed, deceptive strategy.
Myth opens reapers again, while Zenio expands to the front and defends with roaches. Myth goes 4-rax off one base, but his first attack is crushed by roaches and speedlings. Myth's second attack is more successful, forcing the drones to run, but Zenio still is able to defend. Myth expands behind this attack while Zenio takes his gold (3rd base). Zenio techs to mutas for harass and starts massing banelings. And more banelings. By the time Myth moves out, Zenio has massed over 50 banelings, and just rolls through Myth's army, even using 10+ banelings to blow up Myth's command center.
- Nicely played early game from both players, and then +1 star for the ridiculous number of banelings that Zenio made.

SopiaWeRRa < 0-2 > oGsEnsnare
Game 1 @ Xel'Naga Caverns + Show Spoiler [Show Recap] +
Ensnare opens hellion, but Sopia defends with roaches and takes his natural. Ensnare expands, and in reaction Sopia takes his third. Eventually, Ensnare pushes out with a huge biomech ball, taking his gold with a planetary fortress. Sopia attempts to flank with muta roach baneling, but walks within range of the PF and explodes his banelings on Ensnare's tanks. Ensnare moves out, simultaneously medivac dropping Sopia's third, and just rolls him.
- Sopia kept up early, but Ensnare's stronger mid and late game play led to a critical mass of Terran units.
- Sopia kept up early, but Ensnare's stronger mid and late game play led to a critical mass of Terran units.
Ensnare opens hellion again, sneaking in 4 hellions, but Sopia does a good job and only loses a few drones. Ensnare harasses with banshees and float-expands to the island, while Sopia techs to spire. Ensnare starts producing mass thors and takes a third, while Sopia weirdly continues to mass mutas and refuses to take a third. Eventually, Ensnare has ten thors and just attacks with a ridiculously large mech ball, while Sopia attempts to counter and gets denied by more thors back at Ensnare's base.
- Sopia chooses the wrong strategy against a turtling mech terran. The Zerg is so far behind by midgame that it becomes painful to watch. +1 for an absurd number of thors.

"HongUnPrime, aka the Blinkmaster"
HongUnPrime < 2-1 > oGsCezanne
Game 1 @ Xel'Naga Caverns + Show Spoiler [Show Recap] +
Cezanne opens pool into expand while HongUn opens two warpgates into expand, getting a forge after his nexus. Cezanne uses the late forge timing to do a mass speedling attack, and despite some nice forcefields by HongUn, runs the Protoss army back and forth between main and natural and eventually kills the natural nexus. HongUn stablizes and gets his natural up, but Cezanne has taken his third and made a lot of roaches, getting both speed and tunneling. Cezanne attacks, burrowing under forcefields to get near his enemy's stalkers, and just has too many roaches for HongUn to defend.
- Action packed game by both players. Great aggression and decisiveness from Cezanne. Good forcefields from HongUn, but his late cannons cost him.
- Action packed game by both players. Great aggression and decisiveness from Cezanne. Good forcefields from HongUn, but his late cannons cost him.
Cezanne opens standard expand while HongUn stays on one base, teching to stalkers with blink. HongUn uses a hallucinated phoneix to blink into Cezanne's main, abusing the small area near the Zerg's double extractors. Cezanne forces the stalkers to blink out with speedlings and queens, but HongUn just masses more stalkers and continues to attack, blinking back injured stalkers and abusing the terrain. Eventually, Cezanne's army is whittled down and HongUn wins with a large group of damaged stalkers.
- Very cool strategy and micro from HongUn, would be 4 stars if Cezanne didn't react so badly to it. The Zerg should have put up some spine crawlers or teched to roaches faster.
- Very cool strategy and micro from HongUn, would be 4 stars if Cezanne didn't react so badly to it. The Zerg should have put up some spine crawlers or teched to roaches faster.
HongUn opens the same warpgate expand build he did in game 1, and Cezanne attempts early pressure, but this time the tighter terrain structure of Metalopolis allows HongUn to seal his ranged units with forcefields and defend easily. Cezanne takes his third while HongUn adds many more warpgates and masses stalkers. HongUn pokes with his stalkers taking a third base back home, but Cezanne has too many speed upgraded roaches. But both armies travel down different paths and trade third bases, but Cezanne's retreating roach army gets caught by the much faster, blink-enabled stalkers. Cezanne can't recover from losing this army and HongUn wins with his next mass stalker attack.
- Nice blink usage by HongUn. Cezanne stayed on roach tech too long, he could have switched to hydra earlier after scouting no colossus at all.
