LOL are you serious? So you have energy for feedback and researched storm when this comes?Have you even played protoss?

Only thing I could think of is more stalker/sentry heavy rather than zealots but... Then PDD just destroys that too :/ If you see early banshee maybe forget the colossus untill a bit later? Really just a hard push to defend!

Are Colossi really that much better against T than Templars? Colossi just seem so awful in low numbers and especially without lance upgrade vs stimmed MM.

Forcefield the ramp, get out of range of the PDD or snipe it and snipe units with colossus and at least buy some time for more Stalkers.

2 gate robo opening for JMC, polt is up to 3 rax 2 tech labs 1 reactor, getting tech lab upgrades.
|
Man Polt is so ahead with the 1rax FE vs the 2gate robo expand.
|
Wow P is so far behind already

watch socke's play with phoenix against it...

JMC adding support bay and expansion.

The issue isn't effectiveness so much as timing. Templar would come out with low energy and no storm at that timing. Really wouldn't be able to do alot unfortunately.

In the ladder, your templars come out with enough energy for feedback, so I would have you have the energy, since mine certainly are. It doesn't matter if you have storm or not researched at that particular moment (Although it's not inconceivable with proper chrono boosting). You don't need to win outright at that particular moment. You just need to not get your army raped by banshees you can't hit because of PDDs.

Colossi are in some way an easyer option; when they'r done they deal their damage in fights, make kills etc, whereas templars have to hit their storms decently, and you need the rest of your army to do enough damage etc. Personally I prefer templars for their versatility and because I feel vikings are just so friggin easy, but they do come with a bit more of a manual.

Terran moving out with 24+ Marine marauder... don't know if the protoss can hold it.
Wow those forcefields totally cleaned up that push.
|
He didnt have time to get thermal lance. Sentrys are high gas, people forgot how much gas toss units and tech costs. If you get a bunch of sentrys forget getting any tech by the time a push comes. He wouldn't even have storm up by the time that push came.

@DennyR: it is stoppable. But phoenix and chargelots are much better against it (plus g-shield). and temps rather than collossis (later)
but you need the robo against banshees and a 2/1/1/1 (2gate/robo/stargate/TC)build for toss just useless you have like 4units by the time the timingpush comes.

if you go straight to templar tech by the time he hit you with that rush/push, means you have been 100% vulnerable to early marines+scv rush in the first minutes of the game ...

Some forcefield traps and one collosus arriving barely holds the attack, both armies decimated.
