Fixed slice creation so it won't have single slices of one person at the very top (needs 2 or more people to make a slice, unless the slice number is the same as the previous slice) Fixed a small bug in slice generation so it won't leak points into other slices. Search now shows your highest team based on points + leagues (rather than just points) Added the ability to do exact name searches, the search API was updated to reflect this: http://sc2ranks.com/api Graph coloring has been fixed so even those in IE8 will get the correct color graphs with everything working (whoo!) Redid division updating and added a simple status page on average time between updates/newest/oldest records: http://sc2ranks.com/status oldest unscanned is a bit inaccurate for a few hours while I clean up dead divisions. Division updating changed, top 100 1v1 divisions by points will be updated every 20 minutes, top 200 divisions by points of every bracket (200 * 100 * 7ish players) will be updated every two hours. Every other division will trickle update where for 45 minutes out of every hour it'll find the oldest division and update them (eg, it runs for about 18 hours a day). This should result in a full update roughly once a day Numbers are pending, I might increase or decrease them but the main change is the trickle updater. Top 100 diamond 1v1 will continue to have their logs recorded hourly, everyone else will have it every 12 hours. On August 17 2010 09:57 NakorOranges wrote: To update it happened again. if you goto my history, atm it is showing me as ~15k (world rank) in team history, and the graph is reflecting that, but my world rank above is clearly 41K. Hope it doesnt sound like Im whining, just trying to help debug.

Like who has played the most games, the most wins overall, the best win%, how many % have unlocked each achievement etc? Sure, I'll toss something together later today. Percent of achievement unlocks wouldn't be added thought since I don't track that number. Cycling through 300+ pages for whatever reason by clicking "next" or "previous" can get very tedious. Edit: Forgot to mention. Great job so far. Love site.

At the time of posting, Zain is listed as #50 on the SEA Server (http://www.sc2ranks.com/ranks/sea/diamond/1/all/points/0) Yet in his player profile, it claims that Zain is #408 in the Region (http://www.sc2ranks.com/sea/15227/Zain) I'm guessing it's comparing Diamond point values with Platinum and other point values, because it doesn't seem to affect the higher ranked players. The FAQ seems to suggest this does not happen, but I cannot seem to think of any other explanation.

This resource is a godsend for the SC2 community. Oh yeah, if I could ask for just one more thing, it would be to have some way to download all the raw data. That way myself and others could play around with it on our own. All I really care about is the 1v1 ranks, but who knows what others might want. Doesn't have to be fancy or up to date, just some kind of data dump once a day into a zip file even. That would be fantastic.

I am high right now and I totally read this as SC2 Rants (site). I got so unbelievably excited that there was going to be a website to consolidate all the rants on various topics (like my rants against vikings!) on a whole, separatae website. I'm still kinda excited tbh

Because if someone has 800 points with a 45% win ratio, he's much worse than someone with 800 points and a 65% win ratio. I posted a response to this sort of thinking in another thread .. tbh I don't believe you can say that as it depends what leevl people you are matched against .. you might have a 65% win ratio because you got a string of matchups against lower players that gave you a few points at a time but still got you to 800 while someone else has played higher mmr players and because he gets more for wins than he loses he has risen in points as well. There is just no validity to saying that a higher win rate has to mean a better player unless everyone is playing people of the same level all the time
