Anyway around the end I shown a few lines with white in the Caro-Kann - I know someone asked about it previously. Next week I think I will talk some more about the opening in general and show you why I don't like to play it with black - or rather why there's only one line in particular I ever play as black. If there's anything else you'd like me to talk about please ask here or in a PM and we'll see what I can do. I feel full of energy again - so I'll probably stop slacking and start working - which means I'll be more tired in the evenings and maybe stream WoW or Seiken Densetsu 3 since I already started it. I'm kinda eye-ing FF8, too which is one of my favs of the franchise. (Mechanically, I don't really like Riona so parts of the romance stuff is just ew for me.) I'm also trying to round up a few people for in-house SC. I could try ICCup, but if so be prepared for some unsound gameplans with awful mechanics and bad execution. Enough already. Thanks for watching people. Heaven-ice-day.

I managed to pull something interesting, and at 19. Bb2, I knew I had the game unless he sacrificed his queen. If he had opted to sac his queen, he would still be at a material advantage and I would have lost for sure, but I didn't think it would be likely that a newbie(assumption) would even think about trading a queen for a rook. I'd like help on analysis... What would you have done differently if you were white? If you were black? I'm really into competitive games so I'll probably get hooked, and would like to suck less. Man do I have a lot of questions, I'll save them for later though... Edit: Oh wow, analyzed it further. I got really, really lucky hah. I missed so many things, that should have lost me the game. I definately have much to learn, mainly just not playing hastily. I also got chess.com's program to analyze it, and it was scarily accurate...

Right now the stream is going on in a few seconds after this post. My voice sucks today so I'll be silent, but if you want feel free to ask questions on the stream I'll try typing it up or showing on a set-up board after the particular game. If not just enjoy the games! Probably a few 15-minutes or a couple 5-minute if I get too bored. After that I might play a little wow or some random games before heading off to bed. Cheers!

On the other hand I have good news guys. I'm getting a beta key from my cousin (as in this moment) and even though I'm not a big rts fan (I always liked to watch more than play) I will try it. The threads about everyone cheesing 24/7 will probably make it more tempting for me. I probably won't play much and I don't know for streaming - even streaming WoW takes it's toll on my cpu lately, nothing big I just don't like to make the fan too noisy. But if any of you have a key and would like a game or two we can definitely try it sometimes. And if turns more regular than one game per week I will probably try streaming it too. Do note that my time is very limited these days though.

When done I'll just try it out. I don't know a thing about units, build orders, upgrades, let alone buildings. If you still want to play a few games please just pm me. I'll most likely just take some random funny name that comes to my mind.

My next two months is gonna be busy, so just check if the stream is on. I'll try to bump the thread when I'm active - and I'll probably just forget doing so. After two months hopefully I'm moving to the other end of nowhere and I will take a longer break from casting. My laptop isn't on speaking terms with procaster, so it will have to wait till I buy a tabletop PC at my new place as well. Edit: Gosh this is starting to look like a personal blog. I thought I would kill myself the day I started one... Edit: New poll in OP. I voted yes.

I'll try to relay it, but there's no promises as it's a little harder than the usual games and I won't have much time so even if I do it'll only be with music and not commentary. If you have an ICC account you could still watch, though. Will try to also play some in the next few days but I'm kinda busy with TOEFL and GRE.

Relaying with commentary would be hard because by the time I explain everything in all games I would just flag (run out of time) in half of them.

This is the only random such event. Random in the sense of someone else gives it every week and you can only give it once every eight weeks. There are other such 'honour-badge' events, but they are all scheduled, given by masters. The trick is - they don't get a badge if they win on time. For this they can turn off 'auto-flag' so the interface doesn't call the game automatically. Some of them didn't even know about that feature I'm sure. Then there were others who didn't claim the win until they found out they have no chance of winning. It really is my bad that I couldn't move faster, but I like to keep it oldstyle (see below) and I don't like simultans where the giver just plays some boring opening safe and wins with experience. If I'm giving a simul I want them to remember it and make it very exciting for everyone. The time limit here was 30 minutes + 30 seconds/each move against 20 person. I generally use 30+60 or 45+45 for around 12-15 people - and last two times I think I won them all. Maybe I had a draw second to last time before this simul. I don't really blame them for calling the flag for whatever reasons, but they don't get anything out of it either. I knew I was gonna flag in many games and I don't really like this time control, but noone else was signed up and I got a free month of subscription which came handy. Out of all the players only one deserved a win really - and he messed up and came off with a draw in the end. As for the 'old-style'. Usually in real life it people set up boards in a sequence sitting next to each other and the master goes through the sequence one by one. When they arrive to you you make your move when they see it and they have to reply - usually within a few seconds of thinking time. Sometimes they let you ask for another circle if you need more thinking time. Now I like to play it that way. If you listened carefully I always pushed the 'manage windows' or whatever option when I moved in all games, because then I just had to ctrl-tab my way through all the games one-by-one as if I was giving a real life simultan. Obviously it makes time management harder. With the other interface you only see one table and it always jumps to the game where you have the least time in, but I'm a moody person and sometimes I like to keep to traditions - even though I'm not much for rules. If they implemented it to be similar to real life situations I would even love to give simuls to 70-100 people. It would take a whole afternoon, but it's a hell lot of fun. Because of all these busy months my sub might gonna run dry after all. I might even switch account names and be Liquid-Squirrel or something. If that doesn't piss off TL staff and Liquid team members ofc.

Maybe even on a private forum section and a different thread with the separate games where I just go through the threads one-by-one making the moves as if it was a real life simul. Could be fun, but it would need people to learn the annotations. Not a big thing, but could be new to some. I would also be happy to give some post-game analysis on some of the games.

I can't promise chess 24/7 - it'll probably be a mix of WoW, Dragon Age, random flash games and music too. Before I start toeing the queue at the consulate anyway. If there's any chess related thing you'd like to hear of please PM or post it here. I didn't forget the game previously posted here either - I just had not had the time for a longer while. The times will probably be worse for the people in The States as I tend to sleep at more healthy hours these days. And yes, last time I broke the 50 watcher numbers by going slightly over 60 - thanks everyone. It seems my viewer base is growing (not so) slowly.
