Hello fellow TL citizens,
since I love TeamLiquid so much and always contributed my break-your-fingers-micro-challenge-maps to the scene, I thought you would also like the music I make. My advice: Start listening to Robot Ronin extremely loud while playing some 1A2A3A FRENZY. Now!

So, just a while ago, I started making an album with two of my friends. We experimented heavily with raw electric guitar sound, electronic beats, synthesizers, drum and bass rhythms and some other ideas and influences. Generally a mixture of analogue and digital, of Metal, Drum'N'Bass and Gabber. Eventually 10 tracks are finished now.
Check out our myspace to listen to the album: http://www.myspace.com/robotronin
If you like one particular song, you can show it to anyone on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/user/robottoronin
If the music makes you happy, nervous or angry, that's nice! I will create a bandcamp site where everybody can download and use our music for free, make mixes, partys, whatever you like, as long as you mention us in some way.
And also, i would love to contribute one or two songs for a TSL3, if that should happen some time, some place.
What are your thoughts on this, TeamLiquids?

Nice Work. Not really my style of music I have to say though. I did listen to all of your songs.
I think Robot Ronin as a name suits your band very well.

are you planning to introduce any vocals?

For now, we are happy to be an instrumental band. It creates an impression for the listener in which he doesn't have to approve the lyrics to like it. Additionally I think lyrics would distract from the deep musical jungle we created.
On the other hand, i think battle rap would maybe fit nicely over some shredding parts.

Shit this is awesome, nice work!
I don't listen to much music like this, but I'm thoroughly enjoying this. Who are your influences? Who is similar to this?

I would summarize our main influences to Metallica, Slayer, Pendulum and Kid606 Maybe you will also like Pendulum or The Prodigy, they have a somewhat similar style, though also it's just very different. Honestly I always felt like creating a new genre of music.
If you find a similar artist, please let me know!

Sounds pretty awesome, I'll put on the entire youtube playlist while I'm working on an assignment tonight.
#edit: having listened to it now, I still say its pretty cool stuff. I feel the album loses its flow and unique feel a little during the second half, it got a bit boring for me at least, but all in all its a really nice effort. I usually dont listen to drum and bass, but i liked the guitar-heavy approach, and there are some really great and unexpected transitions. Keep it up!

I like it!! Would go well with some action/fighting games or some action movies scenes.

Ah yeah, I already listen to quite a bit of Pendulum/Prodigy.
