I remember starting out and always making speed-upgraded reapers against zerg players to harass their drones and lings with. It worked ok, but I grew out of doing it for obv reasons. Your replay makes me want to go back to using reapers more, as they do really well vs lings and spine crawlers. They're a little bit more useful in combat than people give them credit for. If zerg is gonna fast expand + fast lair while skipping roaches as they often like to do, I think your build is going to give them the asskicking the deserve.
Reapers are awesome! I've been having loads of success with marauder/reaper timing pushes on zergs. Marauders up front to take all the damage and focus fire roaches down. Reapers sit behind and absolutely shred zerglings that try to surround you. While marauder/hellions may seem like a more logical combo, reapers destroy buildings just as well as marauders do! So once you've knocked their army out you can go nuts on the hatchery.

Yeah I also love to push zergs and play a fast game. Going for a long game against them is too much of a headache for me. As long as they want to just mass drones early and skip combat units, I'm gonna be trying to punish them for it.
TvZ is relatively my worst matchup. I get stomped a ridiculous amount of the time they go fast mutas because it puts me on the defensive, and even if I manage to protect myself decently, my slow ass thors aren't gonna be able to go around the map destroying their hatcheries. I keep reading that TvZ is easy or least balanced, but I'm not seeing it. I would probably have to play zerg to understand.

ghostmech replay, opening marauders into ghostmech opponent opens x3-x4 warpgate into robo and expansion.

avilo: that was... an odd replay. The bad manner aside (but really, I would probably not have uploaded it for that bit in the beginning alone) that protoss played... weirdly. Are you sure he was platinum? With total map control he had a gold expansion where only a SINGLE probe mined for 12 minutes... I don't know, that sounds like the kind of thing *I* would do. And then with the constant pushing when he really didn't have to, suiciding his army against your defensive positions again and again. It just... doesn't make any sense.
Also, you need three nukes to take out a Nexus? I thought it was two...

Well, if the shields have a chance to regenerate fully, it's 3...

I just played a Custom game PvP and it was EXTREMELY close. It ended up being an elimination battle with the winner winning with a 113 health Pylon. It was extremely entertaining for me to play, although a little disappointing. I didn't mind much though because it was a custom game so it doesn't count. This shows that SC2 is still VERY entertaining to play. However, the "x is being revealed" thing really made this game close. If that was not a part of the game, he would have a upper hand since he hid more pylons. I wonder if that mechanic needs changing. Although I did make a few CRITICAL mistakes, it is still a very entertaining game; I hope you guys enjoy it.

That was a great ZvZ, those 28 kills on an Infestor is probably one of the best zerg moves I've seen yet.

I don't think you could possibly have done a more obvious try hard attempt at SEO here.
no point in posting here for SEO, every link has added rel="nofollow", so its not rising linked website PageRank

So the only reason I'm actually releasing this replay is because a bunch of people told me I was highly bm'd on his stream after this game. Something about how any newb can win on desert oasis? plz... ro.256 of the gosucoaching tourney.

You beat orb in round1 and you didn't expect him to rage on his stream? You must not be familiar with Orb. =) I wouldn't take offense at it, he rages all the time.

Pretty brutal. At first glance seems rather hard to stop too, he had only 2 zealots and a stalker with a bunch of lings and a queen at this front door when the spinecrawlers were going up.

If you're looking for a long replay with some nice transitions played by ESL players, there ya go.

I like the way you play, but calm down a bit ;-)
