I didn't want to bring up an old, old thread started by Beyonder ( http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=9848 ), so I opened up a new one. In it, you are allowed to ask each mod a question. Since I haven't used mine with Rek, I thought this would be the best time to use it.
So here goes. To Rek: 1)Who do you think are overrated Korean gamers over there? Who do you think are underrated Korean gamers over there? I say gamers and not progamers because I think you know a lot more about no name gamers over there a lot more than we do.
Please answer my second one if you are in a good mood 2)What have surprised you the most that is SC-related that you've seen or heard in Korea? Some talented amatuer gamers that is really young? What gamers do on there spare time? A man in a Zergling suit?

It's great, I love making people smile, I'm a person that smiles a lot!. It's in many cases also my way of communicating (socialising!) both on- and offline.

1. I'd answer this if I could. I have my practice partners from the team and off the team. That doesn't mean I'm gaming with every unknown korean there is. I haven't really been around long enough to answer this question properly.
2. Hmmm a couple weeks ago I was coming home from some place by myself and the taxi cab driver could kinda speak english. He asked me where I was from, I said USA. He asked me if I was a student I said no. He asked me "why Korea?" and I said "gamer." Then he was all like "ahhhhh starcraft? u zerg?" i was like "no me protoss" then he got all excited again and was like "ohh me protoss!!!!!" Then he took his hands off the wheel and did a zealot attack motion or something, I dunno wtf it was, and we had a discussion in shitty broken english about various protoss units. After that, when I got outa the taxi he gave me a discount because of our starcraft discussion.
Only in Korea.

Meat or Saro, how many unique ips visit this site every day and how has that changed in the past year or so, if that's not classified information??

Rek: Do you see yourself getting into any big league with the known names while you stay over there? Or do you think this is to hard to accomplish?

Rek: how does the korean social life differ from the one you had in usa? eg smoking/drinking, sexual attitudes
Well I started working out regularly and got a decent haircut so that kinda helps, but....
I have never smoked pot or anything, but in the USA I did drink a little bit in college (mostly was busy pokering though....though playing IRL poker when drunk always gave me the highest winnings cuz I played exactly the same except I talked mad shit so people always thought I was bluffing). I hung around with girls some, but not a whole lot.
Now that I'm in Korea I tend to go out once per week. I go to night clubs(hip hop), booking clubs(you get a table with fruit and whiskey and/or beer and they have ushers that move girls around from table to table to meet the guys (and a big dance floor)...pretty interesting way koreans do it) and bars with my friends (usually joel and korean guys who aren't part of hexatron) and girls..
All I can really say is Korean Girls = Rofl SUP???!?!?!
