Each e-mail is going to be going out with a unique CD key right? I imagine that could take a bit of work? It's not the same as sending out a cloned mass e-mail?

I registered my beta key like the week after blizzcon and I still haven't gotten an email. You'd think they'd invite the people that signed up first.

Although this reaction is understandable, considering how nerve racking this is staring at my email. I haven't seen a confirmation of anyone getting a blizzcon invite yet, so people should relax for a bit

I'm guessing a total of atleast 5-10 thousand if not more for their initial beta testing phase, which to me says that they're still just processing several thousand invites before they send them to the blizzcon attendees.

While I'm sure there's a large number of people still downloading or who just don't know that they're in SC2 beta yet, this is no-where near how many players blizzard would choose for their initial beta test. That is a relief. If there are only 400 playing then the 1st wave of invites is nowhere near done.

To ensure that you're eligible if you had a BlizzCon beta code, please make sure that you redeemed it at the beta sign-up page as mentioned in the FAQ: http://forums.battle.net/thread.html?topicId=23094049320&sid=5000 . Since this post is only in reference to the blizzon attendees, it would seem to indicate not all of them will be invited to the first wave.

Definitely not the best feeling in the world No, its really not. Years of anticipation, and now all I have to look at is a thread of other paranoid people and the refresh button on my gmail page.

Definitely not the best feeling in the world Yeah and that they stated that Blizzcon/contest attendants and opt-ins would get into the first wave. That could also mean that only some of the blizzcon/contest attendants get in the first wave though but it doesn't really sound like that and could have been a lot clearer about that. What's most frustrating, is that it would take a Blizzard employee like 10seconds to give us an answer in the post on battle.net forums. Simply a "We are done inviting Blizzcon people for this phase" or "Don't move, you might get it any second."
