its not a matter of priority.
for past beta tests, battle.net in its current form didn't exist. therefore opt-ins were sent keys in email waves just like everyone else. now, however, they have the ability to just add sc2 access to opted-in people through battle.net, since you opt-in through battle.net. community sites afaik were asked for battle.net accounts when contacted, which is why people who got their beta access through staffing a community site have access - they were given it the same way as opt-ins.
blizzcon 08 keys were given out way before the new battle.net system existed and when you put your key in you gave them an email. therefore they have to send emails in order to give those people access. they do not have an account associated with these keys.
on top of that, they have never been fast with sending out email waves, whether it be due to volume or something else.
this also applies to anyone who won a key through some contest and was asked for email - you're going to have to wait.
tl;dr just wait.

Although this has probably been answered a million times, I'm still kinda anxious for no reason. Did all the blizzcon key holders get this email:
From: betaSignup@blizzard.com To: <excluded>
This eMail is to confirm the address entered for the Blizzard Future Beta Sign-Up. When the chosen beta test begins in the future, we will eMail this address with further instructions. Please keep this eMail active and make sure to check back - you never know when your invitation will appear!
Thank you for your interest in testing our games -- we hope to see you soon!
Here is your signup information: <excluded>

Blizzard: Let's lure in thousands of Starcraft fans expecting to get exclusive beta access, then give it to people who pay nothing, stay home, and click a button opting-in as well.

are keys from wwi 08 included in the blizzcon batches?

Yup that's the confirmation email.

I have Blizzcon 2008 card also but still nothing. I think they invite like 1000 people in total just for early test.
|
Also, I don't think the people in this thread have any sense of entitlement. They have a sense of, its been 2 years and we just wanna play so bad were going borderline crazy.

There are no new people who get beta in last 1h. Just 500 of them is online like last 3h?

Received 5 minutes ago from beta.techsupport@us.battle.net (EDIT: Actually, that's the address I sent my request to but their reply-to address was jeffc.support@blizzard.com :p):
"My name is Jeff I will be assisting you. Thank you for sending in the email. The beta will be done in waves even if you have not received a SC2 Beta key for the Blizzcon beta key you registered, you may be included in another wave of emails. We have no time frame for when all of these emails will be sent out."
Seems to imply they are done sending them out for this wave? Though I would still expect some reports if that were true...

I'm just going to assume I'll get it tomorrow, beta has been active for hours and still nothing,
|
My friend and I who have Blizzcon keys have not gotten our email yet. My friend knows OTHER blizzcon people, and none of THEM have gotten their email either. So as of right now, has ANYONE from Blizzcon gotten an email?
|
I don't think so. Even if someone who have BlizzCon 2007/2008 key got Beta he got that over "OPT IN" No one yet has got BETA over BlizzCon keys.
|
At least I'm lucky enough to have a friend that let me use his account. I'm downloading the beta right now!
|
wow cool for you
