SAW EM OFF!!!
im an aggie yo! we have a big SC group in college station (like an hour n 1/2 from austin) you should come visit sometime when we lan ^_^
EDIT: also austin had a CSL+ team, they got first in our division and went to playoffs, but i think they aren't in it this season cuz many of the guys graduated
that or they forgot to register ^_^
DOUBLE EDIT: oh btw, saw em off = saw off longhorns horns. Texas A&M and UT are rivals, that's why i made that comment, but your from europe so you prolly wouldnt understand that right off the bat lolol

As a graduating senior, I can reinforce what everyone has said about the University and the city. Do not be afraid to discover and have fun in Austin. There are really safe but fun places to go at night. Downtown is a fun place to go once every other week or so. There are a ton of concerts or shows at any time of the year in Austin. Join a student org ASAP, you will make a ton of friends really quick and your semester will be AMAZING.
If you have any questions, just PM me. I can introduce you to a few members that remain at UT and want to play CSL+. Its too bad that we didnt have enough active players to do a full fledge team. Its probably my fault, but I just cant practice 7+ hours for the matches each week .

Congratulations!
I hear Austin has a really good music scene, saw a documentary on it on Musikbyrån
|
Austin's a nice city and UT's a nice school. There are so many small family-run businesses and up and coming music groups and easily accessible bars. The atmosphere is great, even if the weather isn't. Congrats
|
sounds awesome! I'll be going there two or three weeks before the classes start to sort out everything, like meeting the student adviser and getting somewhere to stay. Hopefully I can explore the city as well or even meet up with someone from TL.

That'd be an improvement to the taste of that food.

Like everyone else has said, Austin is a greaaaat city. Basically all the colleges in Texas want to spend their weekends in Austin (like me :O). You also have a kickass football team.

Swedish food sucks balls tbh. We have like what...meatballs? How swedish is meatballs anyways.
The fact that french fries with kebab meat is like the favourite dish of every other swede, says quite alot about our food culture lol

Is that really all that Swedish food covers? Meatballs and a dish with a side of fries?
|
Congrats!
I'll find out my grad school decisions by end of March
