As a graduating senior, I can reinforce what everyone has said about the University and the city. Do not be afraid to discover and have fun in Austin. There are really safe but fun places to go at night. Downtown is a fun place to go once every other week or so. There are a ton of concerts or shows at any time of the year in Austin. Join a student org ASAP, you will make a ton of friends really quick and your semester will be AMAZING.
If you have any questions, just PM me. I can introduce you to a few members that remain at UT and want to play CSL+. Its too bad that we didnt have enough active players to do a full fledge team. Its probably my fault, but I just cant practice 7+ hours for the matches each week

I'm obviously not going there to play starcraft 24/7! I'm still trying to figure out what's best, to buy a laptop when I arrive as they tend to be more cheap in the USA. But that way I wont have one right when I get there...
