Sure, they don't have the best analysis but they don't even get freakin paid a cent for doing what they do, it's all volunteer work. They make the game exciting and that's all most people should care about. If you know better, good for you, do your own commentaries, if not, don't complain and don't watch. sounds like a combatEX defender

Don't mind the commentators. Even though he lost, Movie played an impressive series.

I thought all the games were at least entertaining, (barring the 4th. UGH!) yet people seem to think that Movie got ROFL-stomped in the first two. I thought he did fine, he held his own against the best player in the world and gave him some problems, set 2 had a killer opening, and I think we've all said what we needed to about set 3.

This is sort of the senseless drivel you would expect from somebody defending bad commentaries alright.

The SC2GG commentators aren't good because of any particularly deep knowledge of the game. They're good because they provide highly entertaining entry-level english commentary of games that not only draw new players to the scene, but despite occasional flaws in analysis, are nevertheless rather amusing.
If you wanted strategical analysis, listen to translations of the Korean commentators, Artosis, Chill, or Day[9]. Maybe Tasteless on a good day, but his style is more shoutcasting to me :D.
Ah, yes, and to those claiming that Movie was schooled in the other sets, it's true, but I found that it was less a result of mistakes on his part, and more of a result of Flash's impeccable play and sense of timing. He had all those builds figured out, and just smashed Movie with perfectly executed timing attacks wherever there was a window.

Until the last set's roflail, I thought movie had pretty solid defense against Flash's pushes. He was just too hasty in his attacks.
