Wowww Jaedong is almost twice as good as Bisu!

That's the most recent example.
But that was last season, and Kespa ranking a lot of zergs at the top reflects that they are in fact a season slow at updating their ranks. Right now Protoss is doing almost as well as zerg, whereas Terran is floundering so much lately that they don't even get to play vs zergs (ala 2 Terrans in OSL ro16).

Haha, I wonder what would happen if Flash lost the OSL... Plus Shine/Movie OSL finalists would be almost as sad if not worse that Kwanro in the MSL finals ... But I really think Shine deserves it, and if he won it, it would be a sight to see.

Yeah, I was talking about this seasons. KeSPA is usually 2-3 months "slow". Terrans are looking the weakest right now overall. And not because of protoss killing them (which they are) but in all MUs.

That there's a good chance his peak is behind him, and the longer time goes on, the higher that chance gets.
That's part of why Flash is so insane -- he's not just #1 ELO, he's #1 ELO and *young*. I wish historical ELOs were available to show how important this is. To give you an idea, Calm was Flash's current age in 2006. 2006!

I'm not sure if age is as strong of an indicator as you think it is. If you have the time, could you check when they reached their peak ELO relative to when they broke into the scene?

What are you trying to say? Same to the guy who said he only believes it's equal for S-class players. If we look at the top of each race, Flash's vZ ELO is almost 100 points higher than JD's vT ELO. So... TvZ is balanced for the guys ranked 2-4?
I'm not saying that ELO can conclusively say there is an imbalance but... yeah. It works for ZvP (Z's have higher ELO average vP) and PvT (P's have higher ELO average vT) too.

Movie still doing very nicely, beat shine soon Best is surprisingly coming up :O And flash ofcourse will be #1 soon... Stork showing whose the protoss boss, gj. Too bad effort fell to fourth tho

So weird seeing Jaedong at #1 lol
I guess KeSPA rank is less temperamental than some other rankings :o

He's still got like 700 points for his back to back OSL wins. But Flash has caught up significantly, though.

How come people forget that JD won back to back OSLs and reached MSL semi-finals?

I'm so excited about this Flash era. There's no one else on that list for me really, this is the Flash + some nubs ranking. he's sooooooooo fucking goooooood

That depends on what "broke into the scene" means. Their first game in TLPD? That's probably the closest approximation I can get, and I can do that if anyone cares. I strongly suspect it won't be relevant, however -- when age correlates so strongly with peak, it doesn't matter if it's causative or not -- it's probably going to continue to correlate.
