ok...well for Halloween i went to a girls play for a party (like barely anyone showed up) well she had a friend of hers show up and hangout and i thought she was really cute.
We started talking a little (im incredibly awkward) and it was obvious i was creepy, and she didn't talk to me much after that (sadness)
well a few more people showed up and we were all kind of bored. we decided to play some drinking card games. (FUN) well...i lost BIG TIME multiple times in a row (shit) i ended up seriously smashed and basically had no idea what the fuck was going on.
Well today she contacted me and told me she thought i was funny and we should do something sometime cause we had a lot in common. (AWESOME)
well here comes the problem...i have NO/ZERO/ZILCH of a clue wtf had went on while i was..."under the influence"..so as awkward as i am already i am in no way confident enough to be...whatever it was i was..this has bad news written all over it for me.
i vaguely remember taking creepy pictures of her all night long (stalker much) and the only thing i remember really that we both liked were...jello shots (rofl)
i foresee a restraining order in my future

Hahaha rofl... well in the end... it only matters that you got the girl. That pretty much rocks. Try not to creep her out when you meet up, or just drink plenty beforehand and maybe you'll relax. I don't foresee a restraining order, more like a diseased kidney as you try to be perpetually drunk around her. lol gl

you lived in the moment and entertained yourself
dont think about what you should do. dont think. when you get there, just do something it will start a chain reaction

i think not thinking is my problem most of the time i say things no person should say in the presents of another person

Hah, if it was so obvious that you were stalker much, then she likes it/you. So... "just be yourself".

obviously have a few before you meet up, will help you relax (and the beer goggles will stay on :p)

I don't understand this awkward thing.
Just treat a girl like you know... a normal human being. You will go far.

sounds awkward, especially if you can't pinpoint why she decided to contact you.
I'd definitely suggest meeting up with her, and that you not maintain the mindset that you're creepy. that's just sounds like a bad idea. play it cool, dude. after all, you have an account on tl.net-- that must account for something... right?
|
By "vaguely remember taking creepy pictures" you mean you've got those photos printed out, laminated and pasted all over your wall, right?

of course, thats how i introduce myself to girls. But seriously, there is no way ill pass this up, but the creepy mindset isnt mine...everyone actually tells me..."hey, your creepy" so after a while i figured hey it must be true.

I am extremely creepy irl and a recluse with no friends, so you should probably listen to my advice:
treat her like you would anyone else and don't analyze anything you do/she does. be yourself and remove and eliminate all conceivable pressure.
|
You were probably just more confident when you were drunk...so if you had stuff in common before, you still have stuff in common now. All you have to do, like every other girl thread tells you to, is be more confident and you'll be fine.
|
That stupid confidence bullshit actually works. I didn't believe it until a few days ago. But I was borderline suicidal when I tried it, so maybe when you get to that level of desperation, you'll let go and give the confidence a try.
|
The way you wrote that post shows that you have little to no self-confidence, which is pretty much the most important thing a girl looks for in a guy. She called you and said she liked spending time with you and wants to see you again but still you label yourself as a creepy stalker bound to get a restraining order.
If you don't like something about yourself, make a conscious effort to change it. I used to be incredibly shy where I would never engage in conversation with anyone when I'm at a party or something. I had a lot of friends who like me for who I am, but I still had a problem with talking to random people I just met at a party. It sucked to see so many potential acquaintances, friends, and girlfriends walk out the door but then I finally realized that it was my fault. I was burning bridges before they were even built. But I made it a point to step out of my comfort zone and talk to people I do not know. After that, I finally realized that these people that I was talking to were just like me. They are just people interested in getting to know another person.
Be calm, be relaxed, and be confident.
This is an underlying issue that isn't going to get solved by 1 stranger posting something on a forum about starcraft, but I can offer you advice what you should do with the girl. Invite to another party and just get drunk like last time except subtract like 3-4 drinks so you don't blackout again. Remember, it's not like you're a completely different person when you're drunk. You are just a more relaxed and confident version of yourself.
Edit: And with that post, I am now a hydra.

Get drunk again, then you can probably remember what the hell went on. They say memory is state dependent so give it a go.
