For gaming and movies, a surround sound system is better (Logitech Z5500 stands out). Z2300 is a decent 2.1 set for gaming as well. However, a common flaw on Logitech system is that they exaggerate the base way way too much. For music with vocals that often will have extended mid, the Logitech speakers are not the best for your money. Have a look at Audio Engine A5 True 2.0 channel sound. You can buy a sub later if you want to. | ||

Bumping this because I finally got those Audio Engine A5 speakers, and man they are amazing! My desk is pretty small and they are HUGE, lol.. but the sound is unbelievable! A subwoofer isn't even necessary because the bass is already perfect. Thanks for recommending them. | ||
