5/5 anyways
Ateish isn't really comparable to this. It had better stats than anything else in the game sure, especially with the aura, but the proc on this thing is something you need to see in action. Played some mirrors against 2600+ warrior/druid with this mace, and its just ridiculous how many mistakes they can make and still be ok because of the proc. Obviously a disc priest won't get as much user out of it, but this thing in the hands of a class that can really use it(honestly any other healer really) and the proc is really game changing. As far as pve goes, we'll probably have 3 of these going into 3.2(we had someone transfer with 20 or so as well as previously having made one a few weeks ago) and I can tell having 3 of these in 1 raid is going to be insane for any new fight.
P.S. This reminds me more of crystal spire than ateish. Now that thing should have been legendary as well.

Scarab Brooch with a 45 second cooldown?
Nothing compares to the unnerfed TF though. TF + Claw of Chromaggus for best dps in the game. D:

Do you mean CTS? or am I missing something. Claw was a caster weapon.
Spell damage used to effect the TF proc, and it made up a significant portion of DPS. I don't think Caen actually used it in raids, but I know he had the first Claw on our server and he had some spell damage enchants.

well i did forget to mention im a pve whore but yeah from a pvp standpoint its beastly all around IMO. i say its probably best on a holy priest or druid for pve. not that its not nice for any healer but if next patch its item level equivalent counterpart is very close to it then its disappointing cause of the difficulty involved in getting it.
