Well done hero! Your reading must have been off-scale :p Cops also seemed really nice, or it must be the weather.
Something similar (although less epic) happened to me yesterday: Was cycling down a very narrow one-way street, when all of a sudden 2 cops show up riding next to one another. I try to stare one down, so he'll get behind the other one and I can pass, he wavers, but in the end he doesn't budge. I stop (no-where to go lol), they also dismount their mountainbikes, 20 people behind them also have to, yelling at us to get a move on. They both look very serious and menacing, then the one I was playing stare-down with says: "Would you like to turn around please?" I cry "Yes I would! ^^" and get the fuck out of there, laughing my ass off with everyone (cops included :o). Sometimes I get the feeling there is still hope!
Conclusion: Drink more and have a car.
PS: barbecues as a vegetarian are not funny, you've been quite a man, keep it up!

I understand you guys saying I shouldn't drive drunk. but there was literally not a single car or person on the streets till we saw the cop car. I don't think we endangered anyone.

You lucked out big time man... BIG time. Sounds like the cops around your area are pretty chill. Idk what kind of breathalyzers they use where you live. The ones they use in Maryland where I live, if its above .02 you're getting arrested.

Same situation for me when I got arrested. Except I got pulled over for driving too slow, and didn't have any luck with the breathalyzer.

Even though some people are better than others at driving while under the influence of whatever, it is difficult to tell how bad off you are and so you are potentially putting yourself and your passengers at risk, even if not anyone else on the road.
Of course, the law is still going to be just as severe at 4am or whenever since there still might be innocent people in your path.

the music put the icing on the cake.

Music+Map made this great story an outstanding read.
Sweetness, how you passed the breathalyzer test is quite amazing.

So the wrong attitude I hope you change this before you get screwed. But hey... life's all about chances right? And there was such a low chance of anything happening!!!! .............. :/
Psycho music was hilarious though.

You endangered the life of your girlfriend.
While I dont agree with your actions, it was an interesting read. My only guess as to how managed to blow a safe reading is that you overestimated how much alcohol you were drinking throughout the night.

I think the legal 'measurement flaw' of the device is just set so high results don't always represent reality well.
And yeah, you're right, I endangered the life of my girlfriend. She knows me though, and knew that I could drive safely in the state I was in at that point.
