Exclusive double interview with the PR makers and notorious KHAN and T1 fans :
OneOther vs JWD ! (must read) :
+ Show Spoiler +
Q: Hi there, guys! I’m really glad you are taking part in this pre-match interview. Lets talk first about T1’s and KHAN’s matches last weekend. How do you think the results will affect the motivation and the momentum of both teams?
OneOther: You know, I actually feel a lot of sympathy for T1 right now. To describe it in the least dramatic manner possible, Samsung is in r-a-g-e mode; they are angry and hungry. In their latest match, the most fearsome combination in progaming - Stork/Jangbi/FBH/Great - failed to take down the lowly CJ Entus due unexpected misfortunes and KeSPA's conspiracy. Motivation? They are ready for some serious blood, man. A hungry lion will not be stopped by anything, especially Kim Taek Cocky. Good thing Bisu is the entire T1 team anyway, yeah?
JWD:Actually, I don't think T1's huge win over OZ will play a big role in this match because the only players that posted wins were Canata, who isn't in the lineup for this match, and Bisu, who would destroy anyone on KHAN regardless of how he fared against HiyA and Jaedong. OneOther will probably try to play off KHAN's embarrassing loss to CJ (thanks for making me feel even dumber for not picking Much in Fantasy PL, JangBi) but Samsung has bigger problems...their days as a PL powerhouse are waning.
Q: Both Khan and T1 brought out the big guns for this match. What do you think about the lineups? Are they in favor to any of the teams?
OneOther: It's not even fair to be honest. First of all, Great is playing a T1 Zerg on Destination. Do I even need to go any further? I am fairly confident I can beat T1 Zergs one on three using mouse only. That's how bad they are. Great, on the other hand, is a ZvZ monster and will devour TheShittyZerg like a piece of cake. (Which he is) This utter humiliation will set the tone for the following matches. We know TvP isn't FBH's forte, but have you seen fucking BeSt play lately? If you haven't gotten the chance, please go watch his games against Type-B in GOM Classic. You must be crazy to bet on BeSt. Next? Oh, the best PvTer in history verses a cheesy, luck-based fantasy. Presumably Fantasy will try to do some all-in type of move, then fail miserably. Beating Jangbi would be the most fantastic achievement of his career, but it will remain only as a fantasy. Lastly, I guess Kim Taek Cocky has a slight to moderate chance of beating Stork. I predict it will either be a two gate proxy or some cheap Dark Templar build.
JWD: T1 got an almost perfect draw with the lineup for this match. BeSt gets a shot at curbstomping firebathero yet again (remember those games on Harmony and Destination from R1 and R2?), fantasy has his strongest matchup on a map which favors his drop- and vulture-heavy TvP style, and of course Bisu will get to add another notch to his belt versus the guy he considers his true rival (it's not Jaedong!). I've got nothing to say about the first set besides I'm relieved BeSt doesn't have to face KHAN's token zerg.
Q: Which game will be the key for winning this match?
OneOther: The first game, Great verses TheZerg on Destination. It will destroy T1's confidence and make them realize they cannot beat Samsung KHAN. As long as Great wins, I highly doubt we will need to see more than four games.
JWD: The 2set. BeSt destroying firebathero will boost his confidence (he needs a win) and set up T1's studs to close out the match before an ace game.
Q:Bisu or Stork?
OneOther: The Birdtoss. I concede that Bisu has been raping poor Zergs left and right, but PvP is whole another story. Bisu should start praying Stork forgets to upgrade Dragoon range again, because that's his only chance of winning other than some all-in build. Please go watch Stork's game verses Free. I believe it will be a similar story. More than likely though, we won't even need to see this match.
JWD: Stork. Reverse psychology - Stork always blows games we think he should win.
Q:What is your pick for a possible ace match?
OneOther: Look, KHAN vs T1 going to ace match is as likely as JWD beating me in a best out of seven series. And I will tell you that is not very likely. If it does go to the ace match through a series of bad luck, it will be Bisu vs Great on none other than Neo Medusa. That is where Great thrives and he will pull through once again.
JWD: Of course not knowing anything about what's going on at the T1 house, everyone (including me) thinks T1 should send Bisu. But the beauty of SKT is that they have three players who, given enough practice or a certain map, are each legitimate ace choices. Because BeSt has had all week to prepare for this match and he's playing in the 2set, I expect him to come out for the 5set. This is another reason the 2set is really important. BeSt's nightmare is having to play vs a Zerg, but since great would get rolled by either Bisu (no proxy hatch, sucker) or Fantasy, he's a liability for KHAN.
Q: After the Proleague PvT showmatch Bisu, Stork, BeSt and JangBi said it will be nice to live together, historically however KHAN and T1 are supposed to be bitter rivals. Do you think we are now in a new chapter of the relationship between those two teams?
OneOther: Can we please take out BeSt from that list? He doesn't belong there and it hurts my eyes to his name next to Bisu, Stork, and JangBi - the true Protoss Kings. Come on, the guy doesn't know how to play anymore. While we are it, can we also make him change his ID? (Best? Not quite.)
These guys have been friendly with each other for a while. So no, I don't think it's new or anything. I certainly like the fact that they respect one other and get along.
JWD:Hell no. The whole "big happy Dragon family" is a bullshit facade to satisfy Korean fangirls' fantasies. BeSt and Bisu only tolerate Stork and JangBi so they can steal KHAN's strategy secrets and bang all of Coach January's hot friends.
Q: You both produced some of the most discussed Power Ranks here at TL. What will be the perfect PR for you?
OneOther:
Heart -> JangBi, Stork, Great, FBH, Bisu, Jaedong, Flash, EffOrt, SkyHigh, Leta.
Brain -> Bisu, Jaedong, Flash, EffOrt, SkyHigh, Leta..
JWD:I sold PR rights for the month of June to Avidkeystamper, Stylish, and TwoToneTerran and I'm now contractually obligated to answer this question with the Power Rank they produced: 1. Jaedong 2. Jaedong 3. Jaedong 4. Jaedong 5. Jaedong 6. Jaedong 7. Jaedong 8. Jaedong 9. Jaedong 10. Jaedong. Bisu is in CBNC, but only because of Heartbreak Ridge. (disciple: LOOOL)
Q:Thank you for your time! Any last words?
OneOther: What an exciting match. I will be watching each one closely and there's no reason why you shouldn't either. I think a lot of people don't appreciate how beastly KHAN is. Hopefully, this show them what's up.
JWD: T1 fighting, of course! Thanks for interviewing me, Disciple.
