1st method-> Using Battle.Net GateWay Editor:
This tool can be found here. (Thanks Ashur & bwprogrammers)
Unzip the file you downloaded and double click the only files that is inside. A screen should open, like this:
On the left you can see the games of which you can edit the gateways you want to connect. So lets click Starcraft/Broodwar just to be sure.
On the right there is a list of the current servers you have added. If you never added a gateway you should see 4 servers only: U.S. West, U.S. East, Asia and Europe.
Now as we want to add a server go to Server->Add a Server... (CTRL+A for the progamers), or just click on the + icon. A screen should pop up, like this:
Here is where we need to introduce the info of the server we want to add. You should get all this info from the server page.
Server Name: Any phantasy name works (ie: Bnet-x, PGTour, FishServer, Poo Server)
Host Name: The ip adress of the server (ie: useast.battle.net, 85.21.79.46)
Timezone: the timezone of the country where the server is located (im not sure if this makes any difference)
After we filled all the info, we click on the OK button. All we need to do now is save all our new gateway settings to the registry. So we just go to File->Save to registry (CTRL+S, or click on the little disk icon).
2nd method-> Editing the BWLauncher .ini file
First of all you will need BWLauncher, you can get it here.
Check where you install the program so you can check the location of the files installed. After doing so, go to the BWLauncher installation folder and look for the file named "bwl.ini", open it with notepad. (right click "Open with" if its not already associated).
Inside you will see some lines. You need to spot this part:
Now if i wanted to add FishServer for example, all i need to do is delete the previous server info in notepad (Abyss server in my case, Bnet-x for most people) and fill in with the new server info.
Fish Server info is:
ServerName : FishServer
Server Ip : 222.122.43.34
TimeZone : -9
So i re-fill my notepad file so it looks like this:
Now all i need to do is open BroodWar using BWLauncher. I open BWLauncher, and click the launch button. The servers should be added.
