Also, when I played Jaedong in the finals I didn’t think he was that great. FANTASY RATES JAEDONG A 2/10.

That match was really nice - TheZerg's game showed some unorthodox play, Bisu's game was a nice come back and Fantasy versus Jaedong was a really intense game. The spooked-wheel map (Heartbreak ridge) has had some really, really exciting TvZs on it.

Thats good that The-Zerg won his matches. Its got to be tough being in the sk house when you are the only zerg there who is holding the torch to be a representative, and continually fails, and finally pulls through wins. Thats just great. And theres too much to say about fantasy and bisu. I mean come on.. they are the best.

He's bound to take some games here and there just due to the highly optimized nature of his specific builds. It's impossible for Jaedong to beat them all. But in the long run, I'm sure Jaedong will come out on top. Fantasy's letting this win get to his head. You could argue that Fantasy is already doing this well while still having noticeable room for improvement in his control (and maybe even macro). On the other hand, JD appears to be nearly maxed out in terms of his potential. All credit to JD's incredible skill and will for winning that OSL (and he gets credit in the form of an additional OSL...). But he was very close to losing and we'd all be singing a different tune in that case. The last time we saw a Zerg repeatedly overcome the odds while walking an increasingly fine line in ZvT, it was Savior. JD's "weakness" (if you can call it that) is his over-reliance on his control, and corresponding over-aggression, which results in him being less innovative (unless you count "build only Mutalisks" as an innovation ... where are the Queens nowadays??). Being innovative is one of those skills that seems to be pretty hard to learn, some progamers seem have it (Fantasy, UpMagic, and believe it or not, Flash even though people don't give him credit for it) and others don't. It's not inconceivable that Fantasy's mechanics will improve a lot over the next six months. In what way can JD match this improvement?

I hope this really is just the beginning for TheZerg. I find him fun to watch and he plays unorthodox builds which is always my Achilles' heel when it comes to liking players.

Jaedong isn't bonjwa dominant, nor is anyone else. What's the big deal?

Also, when I played Jaedong in the finals I didn’t think he was that great. If Jaedong didn't screw up with suiciding his mutalisks, Fantasy would face another rape. Jaedong was ahead the majority of the game with 4-5 gas! Fantasy, get off your high horse. You're starting to remind me of FBH.

Seems reasonable to me.

Yes, that's a good philosophy, no one that plays the game is great. I don't think there is anyway that a reasonable impartial person will not think that Fantasy is a little arrogant.

You're starting to remind me of FBH. 1) it's a translation 2) Jaedong was not ahead, since he had no tech switch options, and really needed fantasy to not roll out, so he had to apply muta pressure to pin him in. Jaedong never 'suicided' his mutalisks

Any way if you read back to an iloveoov interview, iloveoov once said that he intentionally sounds arrogant in his interviews to put psychological pressure on all his opponents in future matches. Probably something he taught SKT1 members to do.

Shut up you have no idea about TvZ. 5 gas and 15 drones mining minerals is useless, especially with no hive tech (which would enable guardian use, at least, for ALL THAT GOSU GAS). Also he was suciding his mutalisk because he knew that if Fantasy is allowed to step out of his base, JD would lose (BECAUSE OF HIS LACK OF DRONES/OTHER ARMY). He was not ahead. Sorry to burst your bubble. Also, if this would have been the first time I'd seen JD play, I wouldn't think he was "that great" either (and I'm a JD fan, don't get me wrong). The man just spoke of what he experienced. Looking forward for the rematch.
