Good call though to 5pool. Abit sarcastic post but im pretty upset with the whole thing, Oz doesn't deserve Jaedong. Take jaedong away and Oz would be the lowest ranked team with Ace. You do realize you are talking bullshit right ? I infinitely respect more , teams like OZ , MBC , CJ .... who rise more good players and don't buy them from other teams like SKT and KTF . Before Anytime went to the army OZ's lineup was : Anytime , Jaedong , ForGG , Hiya , BackHo and Lomo and thats why they won the PL previous seasons . Because Anytime went to the army , ForGG was bought by KTF and BackHo was injured OZ declined a lot and still they were a game away from taking the finals . What did KTF and SKT accomplish by buying most of their superstars recently i would say nothing .... I'm respectful to Oz for riseing a powerhouse like Jaedong .

Oz created Jaedong. Ktf created Flash. SKT1 created oov, boxer, fantasy etc. I don't know what you're talking about. CJ created a really good team and deserves this win.

I'm respectful to Oz for riseing a power house like Jaedong . you do realise you're talking bullshit right? skt didnt buy most of their superstars and given the one they did buy has been most of their team for the last season i wonder how much you feel they would accomplish if they didn't buy him? as for ktf, yep, they're buying tonnes of superstars aswell. lux and forgg (even this might be a stretch). lux has been pretty damn important for ktf and they finished 3rd. this is mission failed by your standards? forgg has played what, 1 game? well hasn't performed, sell him on again! im sure skt will be happy to buy him because that is all they're good for. the main criticism of ktf is ktflash and you're against them making transfers? (ps. don't even go there with them buying flash from fox) or did you not mean to say superstars and rather b-teamers?

This kind of result seemed obvious, even after Jaedong actually won on RH3 in the last series. I wish it really was Iris in the 4th position though, I hate that OZ made Skyhigh look this good... -.- On March 28 2009 21:55 StylishVODs wrote: No I'm not realising im talking shit. I also mentioned that I was abit sarcastic in my post. Oz wasn't worthy of this finals imo, jaedong got them where they are. Sure they don't buy players but they have no one else than jaedong atm and CJ has alot of great players. I believe that KTF could have allkilled oz if jaedong didnt allkill them first, same goes for CJ. Sure I respect teams for not buying alot of players but mainly i just want to watch great bwgames. This is what WL is about, though. It's often more about the players than the teams, which is what makes it so interesting having players like Jaedong around, regardless of what team they're on.

I'm a Jaedong fan before I'm an OZ fan, so I'll blame whomever I like More seriously, Jaedong did something fantastically stupid, something that made absolutely no sense in context. RH3 may be TvZ imbalanced, but Jaedong has broken through that before against better players than SkyHigh. SkyHigh was certainly going to have some kind of special anti-Jaedong build prepared (though not cheese as I thought), but he's still Jaedong. Why risk a 5-pool? Even worse, why risk a soft 5-pool, where you don't actually commit to the all-in? Tactically it makes no sense. Rule #1 about cheesing: if you're going to do it, do it. Also, the move is very out of character for Jaedong. When Jaedong wants to humiliate you, when he wants revenge, he doesn't take it with cheese. Look to his match last week against fOrGG. He utterly dominated the match from beginning to end. Jaedong allowed fOrGG a moment where he thought he could break out from the contain, where he might actually be starting to win or something, and that lasted about 2 minutes. Just long enough for fOrGG to start to taste that victory. Then, 30 Mutalisks appeared as if from nowhere and completely crushed him. That is how Jaedong takes his revenge. He owns you and makes you look stupid, he puts you in a game where everything you do only furthers his own plans. And when you feel you might be gaining some ground, you are only digging your own grave. Revenge for Jaedong is making you think you can win right before your utter annihilation. So I'm sorry; I don't buy that this 5-pool idea originated in Jaedong's mind. RH3 statistically is no worse than SCPR, and he's beaten Terrans on both before in straight-up fights. What concerns me, especially if Jaedong did come up with this 5-pool nonsense, is what it will do to Jaedong mentally in the week preceding the OSL finals. Fantasy may be the next head on the block, but if Jaedong is second-guessing his builds, he could be in a world of hurt. Fantasy may be "just another Terran," but he's an OSL finalist, and he got there through Bisu. Look, it took incredibly huge balls to do what Jaedong did to Iris. Most Zerg would have sent in a few Muta, been warded off by the turrets, and did a tech-switch to Hydra/Lurk. Other Zergs would have persisted a bit longer, just to ensure slowing Iris down before comitting to the tech-switch. It takes absolute confidence in your abilities to go with a +2 Muta build against SK Terran. I shudder to think what Jaedong would be without that confidence. On to this match, though. A double-Jaedong-all-kill would have been great for the Jaedong fans, but somewhat anti-climactic for pretty much everyone else. Oh sure, watching Jaedong kill Terrans with pure-Muta, or crushing Zergs with his incredible micro is enjoyable to some degree, but it's nothing quite like that Hiya vs. SkyHigh finale. SkyHigh did really well, though half of his opposition clearly wasn't up to his skill level. He decimated a foolish Young for doing just the wrong build against him. And he showed that he knows how to control a match with his play against Spear (who?). Too bad we never got to see a real Jaedong vs. SkyHigh match, but Hiya definitely tried to make up for it. It is an odd final though. You basically have Jaedong dominating, then he hands off to SkyHigh who dominates. The only real match of the night was Hiya vs. SkyHigh. CJ proves that being well-rounded is more important than having Jaedong, even in the Winners League format (a format they certainly need to use more often).
