This is probably too trivial for general, so I'll put it here instead =)
So I have spent some time in the U.S. and Japan during the past year, and consequently, I opened bank accounts with local banks (JPMorgan Chase and Mitsubishi if that matters). I want to do some fund transfer without additional cost such as wiring.
I was told that PayPal allows fund transfers between different banks and different currencies.
Currently, I want to do a transfer between my Canadian USD checking and my American checking accounts. What are the procedures through PayPal? Do I just transfer some fund from my Canadian account to my PayPal then do a withdraw from my PP to my Chase? What is the maximum amount transfer ($6500 counting towards money laundering?) for international transfers? Is this completely free?
Now, suppose I want to transfer some funds from my JPY account, does PP only charge a 2.5% fee regardless which currency I am converting this amount to?
Has anyone tried this before?

Okay, problem.
How do I add a Canadian USD Checking...?

I would advise that you speak to your bank VIA phone as I'm sure they could arrange this sort of thing.

Yo I don't know but I sale thru ebay and have paypal collect the change. But I am in US collecting the fee's and I know paypal is located in El Paso, Texas. I am in Fort Worth, Texas and I can transfer up to $500 to my account. I would have to do some further research to better help you. But if you need the cash TRANSFER THAT SHIT asap. Otherwise you will be like some guy named CharlieMurphy.....
Edit: Oh I can transfer more if I upgrade my account, but I am not doing in that big yet.

Using paypal is liek bye bye 650$ as they take 10% transaction costs or something

I thought they were advertised as (on their website) free for both transfer and withdrawal for Canadian and US accounts...
I'll have to look into this a little more.
It's such a huge pain transferring money

Transferring money between personal Paypal accounts is free Withdrawing is free in the US, not sure about elsewhere Depositing from a bank account is free, I think, might only be for US banks Converting currency has a hidden 3%ish fee built into the conversion rates
It takes 2 weeks or so to associate a Paypal account with a bank, and the transfer limit's about $2500 if you don't.

Its free up to $500. I believe you have to upgrade your account if you want to transfer a higher amount of cash into your bank account. I don't know the most I have transferred to my bank account is like $498 in one month. I had $2 bucks left to transfer for that month. It should state on the transfer page what the requirements are to transfer a higher amount.
