The Battle of the Bands III!
The Process
The music is in a .zip file. We streamed it last time and, let's admit it, the quality loss sort of sucked. This is for the best.
Download it. Listen to it. Listen to it twice at least! Give 'em all a chance is what we're asking here.
Voting
The voting is the same way as the previous battle. I considered some other options but this is the only way to even remotely ensure that it is TL only and that scales aren't unfairly tipped for anyone.
To vote, send me a PM with your top two favorite artists and two favorite songs. Make it clear which artist/song is getting your #1 vote in this way: #1-Beatles #2-Rolling Stones, #1-Hey Jude #2-Beast of Burden
Voting is done January 4th.
Artists can vote. Artists cannot vote for themselves.
The Music
First, let me say that BOB3 has the best songs yet. Probably.
Second, thanks to everyone who submitted. That full list would be: Beyond Control, Graeme Hay, Hannah and the Public Display of Rhythm, Labelouze, Prologue, ST and Starstruck. Like I said, I think is probably the best collection yet. Of course, you can check out BOB2 to compare it (BOB1 is mostly lost for now).
Third, here (mirror) is the battle you've been waiting for. I hosted it on my own space, turrbull.com. That means that it will not be up indefinitely. That also means please don't send that link everywhere in the universe because it costs me money. I appreciate not being bankrupted by a jerk!
Happy holidays, non-jerks.

It was certainly harder to vote this time around. Quality was high all around.
Kudos to those who entered!

Oh, I've been waiting for this. Just dl-ed, will listen to it trough next week.
edit: Oh God Smurgg, I want this music back in the clubs so badly... :D

excellent, listening now... Will vote tomorrow after a second listen I'm thinking.... Leaving the TL names out was a good idea.

i've figured out my schedule. Voting is done January 4th.

bump, mirror
I've never really paid attention to these contests, and listening to the submissions here makes me regret that. So much talent here, this definitely deserves more attention than it gets.

I have a question about the vote: should i send 4 votes total (2 votes for artist 2 for songs) or its 2 votes for artist only (and pointing their best song?). Just to be sure.
